Questo tour consiste in un viaggio in TukTuk con il classico "Piaggio Ape Calessino 200" attraverso le montagne, con soste nei migliori punti panoramici, che vi permetteranno di contemplare i palazzi e i castelli più enigmatici del Portogallo. Il tour inizia sempre nel centro storico di Sintra e si dirige verso le colline, dove avrete l'opportunità di vedere i seguenti monumenti: Palazzo Nazionale di Sintra, Quinta da Regaleira, Palazzo Biester, Castello Moresco e Palazzo Pena. Attraversando le montagne su un percorso di vecchie strade, a ogni curva troviamo una storia da raccontare. Itinerario
Questa passeggiata inizia dal punto di incontro e prosegue su per la montagna, dove si attraversano i migliori punti panoramici. Ci fermeremo a un punto panoramico da cui potremo ammirare il Palazzo Nazionale di Sintra, noto anche come Palazzo Reale di Sintra, uno dei palazzi medievali più importanti e meglio conservati del Portogallo.
Successivamente ci fermeremo a Quinta da Regaleira, uno dei luoghi più misteriosi e affascinanti della Sintra del XIX secolo. Man mano che ci avviciniamo, lo scenario si trasforma grazie alla fitta vegetazione e i sentieri tortuosi ci conducono a questa vera e propria favola. La tenuta, con i suoi giardini incantati, le fontane e gli elementi architettonici enigmatici, è un labirinto di storie e simbolismi che ci trasporta in un mondo di mistero e bellezza. Parleremo della storia del monumento e voi dovrete godervi questi fantastici panorami.
Successivamente ci fermeremo al Palazzo Biester, costruito nel XIX secolo, il palazzo ha una bellezza unica, circondato da splendidi giardini e da un'atmosfera di mistero e fascino. L'edificio è famoso per il suo legame con il mondo del cinema, essendo stato una delle location del film La nona porta (1999).
Successivamente ci fermeremo al punto panoramico del Castello moresco Isolato su una delle cime della catena montuosa di Sintra, il Castello è una fortificazione dell'VIII secolo risalente all'epoca dell'occupazione musulmana della penisola iberica. Parleremo della storia del monumento e dovrete approfittare di queste viste panoramiche per scattare delle foto fantastiche.
Successivamente ci fermeremo in un punto panoramico con vista sul Palazzo Pena, un gioiello sacro che incorona la Serra de Sintra. Le tinte colorate del palazzo, massimo esponente del Romanticismo in Portogallo e opera eterna del re Ferdinando II, l'artista-re, aprono le porte all'immaginazione di tutti coloro che lo visitano. Lì parleremo della storia del monumento e dovrete approfittare di queste viste panoramiche per scattare delle foto fantastiche.

Tiago Costa was a fantastic guide! Very talkative and have very interesting facts and information about the different palaces and castles in a clear manner. Also took very good photos for me and my mum and a took a cute Polaroid photo of us. He was very pleasant and polite. This is a good tour if you wanted an overview of all the sites and to go see the monuments (with entry tickets) that spark your interest the most next day or later in the day as we did. Tiago kindly drove us to the old town afterwards, but did offer to drop us at the top of pena palace to see the gardens. Very flexible guide.
This is the perfect tour if you have a short period of time and yet want to know about Sintra and wish to see the major attractions and take beautiful photos without the long walks. Tiago and Svenja were fun and had the right amount of information to keep both the adults and kids interested! Thank you for a wonderful tour!

Tiago gave us a relaxed and interesting tour. It felt very personal to his home of Sintra and we enjoyed it very much.
Good way to externally see the sites to the gates of the Pena Palace with stops to take in some great views and take pictures. Tiago our guide was informative and on hand to take pictures.
A lovely experience. We went with our two puppies, and Tiago made the visit much easier for us. It's worth it to go by tuk-tuk. Sintra is beautiful, and with Tiago, it felt like we had known him forever. 100% recommendable

Thoroughly enjoyed this tuk tuk tour with Tiago. He grew up and still lives in the area so his knowledge of everything he took us to is fantastic. He is personable and friendly and made sure we got the best out of the trip. We learnt and have remembered so much of what he told us which I am sure is because of his superb story telling skills. His driving around the tricky roads was brilliant and we always seemed to get the best viewing spot! Can't recommend this trip enough you won't regret it.
