Itinerario
Prima di iniziare la nostra visita, assaggeremo la deliziosa Queijada de Sintra nella pasticceria più antica del villaggio. Quindi, ci dirigeremo verso la cima della montagna passando per l'emblematico Palazzo Nazionale di Sintra, dove potremo vedere i famosi camini. Breve storia.
Passaggio attraverso il Biester Palace, famoso per essere stato teatro del film Nona Porta, con protagonista l'attore Johnny Deep.
Durante la nostra meravigliosa ascesa attraverso le montagne di Sintra, attraverseremo Vale dos Lagos, dove faremo una breve sosta per goderci parte del giardino del Palazzo Pena, vista panoramica del Castello Moresco. Qui ti parleremo un po' della storia e delle leggende del nostro romantico e bellissimo villaggio di Sintra. Ottimo punto di registrazione fotografica.
Passaggio attraverso l'ingresso delle mura del castello. Di fondazione musulmana, Castelo dos Mouros occupò una posizione strategica e fondamentale nella difesa del territorio locale e dell'accesso marittimo alla città di Lisbona.
In cima alla montagna troveremo la perla della corona di Sintra, il romantico Palazzo Pena. Con i suoi colori accesi e caldi, in cima alla montagna, ci porta in un mondo di leggende e fantasia.

Great tour of Sintra. If you have trouble doing steps and walking far, this is the one for you! Beautiful place. Isabella was a lot of fun!
Pedro was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about history, geography, horticulture, and geology. We had a wonderful tour of Pena Palace and Regala. I’m so glad we took a tour because there is deep history behind these castles that we wouldn’t have known.

Pedro was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Portugal, the castles and the flora of the area. He helped make us more comfortable by having clean warm blankets available (as the wether was cooler than we expected) He even kindly bought us a local pastry treat during our tour. Thank you Pedro!
