Itinerario

We had an amazing private tour with Fahmi (guide) and Fakhri (driver) around Medina, Carthage and Sidi Bou Said. Fahmi was such an engaging and accommodating guide reacting to all our family’s particular needs and wants. It was definitely a highlight of our holiday to Tunisia and would highly recommend this tour. Thank you both for giving us such a memorable experience
The farmhouse is beautiful, supported by a kitchen of equal quality, excellent execution of the dishes, and equally good service staff; definitely a place to recommend.
Well organized tour, with the schedule helping avoid cruise ship crowds. We started at the Medina, then proceeded to Bardo National Museum. Lunch was at a very nice restaurant (Le Grant Vert) followed by many sites at Carthage and ending at Sidi Bou Said neighborhood. Very packed day, but well worth it. Narjese was an amazing tour guide and Khalil was a great driver.
We booked a private tour as I have some mobility difficulties and needed a pace that could be modified if needed. Our driver, Mami, and our guide, Chaouki, were both extremely helpful and very keen to ensure we could enjoy every aspect of the tour despite a slower pace. Chaouki was informative and extremely knowledgeable about the local area and the history. We loved Tunis and the Medina. It makes such a difference to experience these things with a local, particularly when its very busy. From the Medina we went on to Carthage. It was very beautiful and full of history with fantastic views. Sidi Bou Said was very enchanting at the top where no tourists. The views from the top are breathtaking. The descent was quite difficult for me and Chaouki was very accommodating with stops etc. The lower part of the village is a tourist hot-spot! We had a wonderful lunch and both enjoyed trying local cuisine. We arrived back at our hotel around 3.30pm. Would thoroughly recommend this tour and again, thank you to both Mami and Chaouki for your kindness and knowledge.
A great day out, picked up from our Hammamet hotel, meeting our English speaking guide later in the city. The Medina was really interesting but be prepared for sales patter in the spice, perfume and rug shops that are part of the tour. It was good to hear some background about the city and country, our guide was good and her English was acceptable, although we missed a few words and phrases here and there. The Roman ruins at Carthage were inpressive, as was lunch, very tasty and filling. The final stop was the blue and white village or Sidi Bou Said. Once we were told it had been voted one of the world's prettiest we should have guessed it was no longer a quiet one. Thankfully we weren't in high season, when the crowds would probably be unbearable. We feel we got a good cross section of Tunisia in a day and glad we booked the trip.
This was a fantastic tour that touched the main parts of Tunis. Baligh is an amazing guide. He costumized the itinerary to give us the best overview of Carthage. I highly recommend the tour and the guide Baligh.
We had a very enjoyable day. Everything was smooth, from pick up from our hotel to navigating the medina in Tunis. We never felt rushed as we could go at our own pace. The tour itself was very interesting and beautiful. Imen was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and got the ballance just right. Lunch was good, we have a few fussy eaters in our party and everyone enjoyed what they had. I would highly recommend.
Absolutely fabulous day across major sights of Northern Tunisia. Thanks to our guide Baligh for the knowledge, experience and inspiration to see more in Tunisia. The museum Bardo is fabulous and very unique! Highly recommend.
I had a great time on this trip; my guide was amazing. Very well informed and was willing to answer all the questions I had. It was also a very easy, seamless experience from start to finish.
Absolutely brilliant guide Bilal 5/5, so informative and saw some amazing places. He really new his stuff!!! He adjusted the tour based on the weather and responded to our specific requests to stop at shops or get olive oil. The transportation was very comfortable for our family of 3, it was 9 seater, new and modern, could leave stuff in the car when we got out for stops. So much better as a private tour than on a big bus! Only reason it isn't 5* review was the lunch stop let it down. It was in a random cafe with no charm and the food wasn't the best, although staff were friendly enough! Such a shame else would have been 5* for sure.... Could lunch stop be switched to something on the seafront with a view, it would make all the difference?! However, it wouldn't put me off reccomending the tour, the guide and drive were both great and overall the experience was good.
Thank you very much for your kind review and for your positive comments about Bilal and the overall organization of the tour. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the places visited, the flexibility of the itinerary, and the comfort of the transportation. Regarding the lunch stop, we completely understand your remark. During the month of Ramadan, the choice of restaurants open during the day is unfortunately very limited, which sometimes requires us to adapt the lunch location depending on the few places available. From March 20 onward, the situation returns to normal and all restaurants will be open again, including our usual restaurant which offers a much nicer setting. Thank you again for your recommendation, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again on a future tour.
