Ari was such a kind and knowledgeable guide! We could tell he really loves Coyoacán and shared so many special bits of information with us about the area and Mexico in general. We got caught in a heavy downpour so didn’t get to see as much of the neighborhood as we would’ve liked, but Ari stayed with us past the allotted time and was great company while we waited out the rain. We would definitely sign up for more tours with Ari again!!
Wonderful tour of Coyoacan. Around my tour guide spoke English and showed me Coyoacan. I learned do much about the area I had Ben staying in for two months. I never knew much till he showed me it! The tour covered history, the arts and exciting squares and a bustling market. Ari was very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this tour.
This was a very informative guided tour by Ricardo. We appreciated all the historical details he provided along our route. 100% recommend this tour.
We enjoyed our tour and our tour guide, Ernesto, was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. We were the only ones in the tour, so it was very private.
We misunderstood the scope of this tour. Initially. It does not go into the Frida Kahlo museum. However, it was a nice tour of the Coyocan neighborhood. In addition to the neighborhood, we got to go into a lovely church and a local market. Our guide helped me look for souvenirs, at my request. We were never pressured to buy anything. We also thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream and churros. We did pay for those independently.. if I had understood more, I would have booked this tour on a Saturday. During the tour, we learned that there is a local art market on Saturdays. I think that would have been very fun.
This tour was everything we had hoped for. Daniel was a fabulous knowledgeable guide who went above and beyond describing the local culture.
Ari was a wonderful tour guide and gave us an incredible in depth and personal experience of the vibrant and rich neighborhood of the Coyoacan. We felt as if we were walking and talking with a friend excited to show us around the neighborhood he loved. In addition to telling us about the area, he pointed out the best of everything, restaurants, churrerias (Churreria el Moro), bars, and stalls at the market. He led us to a chocolatier in the market where we sampled numerous varieties of Mexican chocolate. Ari patiently waited and encouraged us to enjoy. He showed us historic squares, and churches, adding stories to enrich the experience. As the tour grew to a close, he helped us plan the rest of our day in Coyoacan - we stayed in the neighborhood 10 hours in part because of his wonderful suggestions. I highly recommend Ari's tour!
For the tour it was just me, my girlfriend and the tour guide ( Daniel ) and we really enjoyed it. Daniel is such an amazing guy, showed us the city, gave us really good tips on where we should eat, go shopping and very knowledgeable as well during the tour. If you would like to know coyoacan I would recomend since it's a very chilled experience.
I recently took a guided walking tour of the Coyoacán neighborhood, home to Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. My guide, Galilea, was very knowledgeable and provided interesting historical facts along the way. The pace was relaxed and enjoyable. She was very welcoming and pleasant to be around. I recommend this tour; however, I would advise against going on a Monday if you want to visit museums, as they are all closed.
Ismael was great, we learned a lot. It was fun to walk around the area and see the history in front of you. The rain did make things bad
