We had so much fun on our sailing trip! The weather was beautiful and the views were incredible. Captain Ian was easy to reach and coordinate with, very friendly, and shared lots of interesting historical fun facts when we asked. We always felt comfortable and safe throughout the trip, and the route was perfect—covering all the key iconic sights. Would absolutely go again and highly recommend!
Our sailing tour in New York was beautiful. The group was small, with only 5 passengers. Our Captain Andrew was very friendly. He responded to all the wishes of the passengers. The sunset was perfectly timed so we could take perfect pictures of the skyline and Statue of Liberty.
It's a fabulous experience to see the Skyline from the Hudson and bypass Governor Island, to get so close to the Statue of Liberty, without crowds. A memorable moment to recommend without hesitation
So fun! Amazing views! Highly recommend and would absolutely love to come again! Great vibes and got so close to the statue of liberty!
We had a nice, relaxing afternoon sail with Andrew as our captain a few days ago. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about the various buildings and landmarks we viewed during our trip. It was a great trip on the water and we really enjoyed being on the sailboat. Definitely recommend!
We took a sunset tour , the views of nyc skyline and Statue of Liberty were amazing. It’s a beautiful well kept boat. We had a fantastic time. Our captain Ian was kind and easygoing . Great experience overall !
Our trip to New York City was incredible, but the absolute highlight was **Brooklyn Sailing**. We booked the sunset tour, and it was nothing short of breathtaking. Watching the sun dip below the skyline and then seeing the city lights come alive was a magical experience. The view was stunning, especially at night, and sailing under the Brooklyn Bridge was unforgettable. We also got an up-close look at the Statue of Liberty, which made the moment even more special. Captain Andrew was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and fun. He shared interesting bits of history about different landmarks, making the tour not only beautiful but also insightful. Most impressively, he handled the antics of three enthusiastic teenage girls singing “Empire State of Mind” like a pro! His patience and great energy made the experience even more enjoyable. Hands down, this was our **favorite part of the trip**. If you're considering booking, don’t hesitate—it’s 100% worth it !
I booked a private sail with Brooklyn Sail to propose to my girlfriend and Ian was the perfect captain – he captured the moment beautifully and struck the perfect balance of giving us space and engaging in friendly conversation. The sail itself was super smooth and the boat is in great condition. We got great views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, and lower Manhattan.
We had an amazing experience with Brooklyn Sail on Saturday, March 29th. From the very beginning, the captain was extremely professional and helpful. Before the trip, he provided detailed instructions about the reservation process, ensuring that we fully understood what to expect. Once we boarded, he gave a thorough safety talk and an insightful tour of the boat, explaining how to move around safely, including accessing the front deck and the interior. About an hour and a half into the trip, the weather started to change. The captain was incredibly flexible and assured us that if it became too cold or rainy, we could end the trip early for everyone’s comfort and safety. His concern for our well-being was truly appreciated. Additionally, one of our friends became very seasick, but the captain was well-prepared. He provided emergency medication, acupressure bands to help with nausea, and even had blankets on board to keep everyone warm. Throughout the trip, the captain also shared fascinating insights about lower Manhattan and the landmarks we passed, making the experience even more engaging. One of the highlights was getting an up-close view of the Statue of Liberty, which made the entire trip feel even more special. Overall, Brooklyn Sail exceeded our expectations in every way. The captain’s attentiveness, knowledge, and preparedness made this an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re looking for a scenic tour or a relaxing time on the water, I highly recommend booking a trip with Brooklyn Sail. You’ll be in great hands!
I 200% recommend this. I made lifetime memories with my family in November with this sailing tour. Many Thanks to Ian and Andrew! It was such a beautiful afternoon with a magical sunset. You come so close to everything, the bridges and ofc the real star, the Statue of Liberty. We had such a fun time, with splendid views of the city every way you looked. Thank you Andrew for being so kind and giving so many info. I still have the view of my dad as a captain for a brief moment with the sun and the Statue of Liberty 🗽 in the background in my head (and in pictures)… this type of memories, you can’t fake them ! ;)
