La guida ti aspetterà nell'atrio dell'hotel. Il tour avrà inizio dopo il viaggio di un'ora e mezza fino alla cittadina di Novi Petrivtsi. Se desideri conoscere profondamente l’attuale situazione politica ucraina, la residenza dell'ex presidente Viktor Janukovyč a Mezhyhirya è uno dei posti migliori. Scoprirai i dettagli della sua vita privata e vedrai un lusso e uno sfarzo così eccessivi e grandiosi da farti perdere la testa. Questo terreno enorme è racchiuso da una recinzione alta 6 metri. Inoltre, c'è un settore VIP separato da un'altra recinzione. Potrai vedere tantissimi alberi e arbusti potati magistralmente, il campo da tennis e il lago che non gela mai con le sue varietà di pesci esotici. Ti sorprenderà sapere quanti animali e uccelli esotici vivono in questo luogo. È presente una grande fattoria con pavoni, struzzi e fagiani. Potrai anche visitare il laboratorio dove si analizzavano i pasti prima di servirli all'ex presidente e ai suoi ospiti. Dopodiché potrai raggiungerai la riva del fiume Dnepr. La visita di alcuni settori è opzionale, come la caserma dei vigili del fuoco privata, il porto e l'esclusivo centro di addestramento per cani. Il garage privato con le vecchie auto dell'Unione Sovietica, che è stato trasformato in un museo di auto d'epoca, è molto interessante da vedere. Due edifici in particolare ti lasceranno a bocca aperta: il centro benessere e la Honka, un'enorme casa in legno che fu la residenza principale della V. Janukovyč e la sua amante (visita opzionale). Il centro benessere propone attrezzature di altissima qualità e alla moda, tra cui una costosa spa. Il centro offre trattamenti come la camera iperbarica, la sauna criogenica, una grotta di sale artificiale, ecc. Dopo il centro benessere, raggiungerai la residenza principale attraverso il tunnel sotterraneo. La parte più spettacolare della casa sono i suoi pavimenti di legno a mosaico, che sfruttano 17 varietà di legname. Il sistema di filtraggio dell'aria funziona così bene che i lampadari, che non sono stati puliti per due anni, non presentano traccia di polvere. Sono necessari circa 40 minuti per vedere tutti gli accessori esclusivi e gli arredi della casa, come i lampadari dorati, un carillon unico fabbricato in Svizzera, che costa circa mezzo milione di dollari, e un pianoforte della Steinway & Sons. Al termine del viaggio in questo "museo della corruzione", l'autista ti riporterà in hotel.

There were a number of options included with this tour which listed a tour of the dog training facility. When I discussed with our guide that we would like to go there she wasn't aware it was an option. After enquiring about it she advised we wouldn't have time to fit it in after the ?hombre (house). I may not have read the information correctly but when we got to the house it was a cash only entrance fee. The house is large , a blatant display of 21st century wealth instead of the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th century homes/ palaces we later saw on our holiday. . I still wish I had seen the dog training facilities. We saw a lot more grand homes and palaces during our stay but no more dog training facility options.

As it is stated in the inclusions/exclusions section, the tour includes entry tickets to the park, while all the rest of the locations are optional and for an additional fee. It is difficult indeed to see all the territory in a four-hour tour, as the territory of the residence is almost 140 ha, and the dog training center is located far from the entrance. However, the guide should have taken into consideration your desire to visit it and adjust the itinerary accordingly. Usually, most people want to get inside the main mansion Honka, but in your case, the guide should have offered you a visit to the dog training center instead of Honka. President's palace or now as known as corruption palace is the surface residence of earlier president where all taxpayers money used to create luxury and resort for king. It is huge palace so you have to use bicycles or auto sccoter bike or golf cart. Part of it is closed but natural beauty greenery ponds trees flowers Flora n fauna is worth spending hours together. A very pleasant expereince specially for nature lovers.

<p>This was one of the best tours I had with Viator. Highly recommend . The guide spoke clear English. However the guide invited another tour group to join us so we did not have a private tour as we thought it would be for us. Very interesting.</p>
<p>I definitely recommend this tour for anyone wishing to not only see a display of corruption at its worst but also to get insights into the man Viktor Yanukovich whose bumbling actions would spark the 2014 Europmaidan revolution. I booked the six hour tour and was picked up at my hostel by the tour guide. We spent the entire day at the estate and I got to see all the major sites from the mansion to the zoo, the dogs, the car collection, and the grounds. I found the tour guide to be very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions. I would recommend doing this tour on the weekends when all sites are open the mansion and car collection are closed at the beginning of the week to get the most out of your visit.</p>
