Birkat Al Mouz, situata fuori dalla vecchia strada Muscat-Nizwa, si traduce in "Banana Pool" poiché la zona ospita molte piantagioni di banane. Uno dei più famosi villaggi in rovina del Sultanato.
Visita il sistema di irrigazione di Al Kattmyn, uno dei 5 sistemi di irrigazione patrimonio dell'UNESCO.
Jebel Akhdar conosciuta anche come la Montagna Verde, Jebel Akhdar ospita molte piantagioni di frutta e roseti. Prenditi il tempo per passeggiare tra le colline e ammirare i panorami della valle. C'è molto che Jebel Akhdar ha da offrire, come il Diana Point dove la principessa Diana si ferma nel posto.
Al Suwjara Village è nato con una famiglia. Il villaggio è ora diviso in vecchio e nuovo. Il nuovo villaggio è a circa 20 minuti di cammino da quello vecchio. Le auto a quattro ruote possono guidare fino al nuovo villaggio, ma per accedere al vecchio villaggio, bisogna scendere da un lato della montagna, attraversare un ponte di legno e salire su un altro per raggiungere le vecchie case. La Cliff Guest House è iniziata con una stanza, poi dopo tre anni la casa sulla scogliera è diventata attraente per molti viaggiatori che si recano a Jebel Akhdar, e poi ora hanno 7 camere e più per lavori di ristrutturazione con vista sulla scogliera di montagna, il suo tradizionale vecchio stile costruito in pietra dal montagna. Hanno diverse suite, camere doppie e camere doppie con bagno e letti moderni per il comfort degli ospiti. Il cibo servito viene cucinato dalla famiglia reiki di Mohammed al Shu. La Cliff Guest House ti permette di goderti la natura. Al Suwjara aveva più di 500 anni. Nome del villaggio di Al Suwjara dagli alberi che Sugar ha fondato nel villaggio.

Amer was great! We had the bad luck of the tour day falling on a potentially dangerous rain day - but he was super flexible and informed to ensure that we could do the tour safely. Lunch was excellent at the Afghan/Iranian place overlooking the gorge and rose terraces. We want to come back when they are in bloom. I think our favourite 2 spots that we visited were the falaj and Birkat al Mouz. Amer was very accommodating, gracious and patience with our kids.

Jebel Akhdar is one of the famous places to visit in Oman. the village is so beautiful even though it was a bit difficult to reach. you have to go 4WD Car to be able to reach the place. the place was so unique.
