Pick-up / drop-off privato all'interno di Gyeongju. Curato e offerto da Tour with Ryan × Shinan Dream Travel

A brilliant experience – a really interesting tour with a focus on nature. On board Mum’s stunning Grandeur, with hos excellent English and his passion, Ryan treated us to a truly fantastic day! Even after saying goodbye, he still sent us some really useful tips for our next destination! Well done!
It was wonderful thanks to Ryan. His kindness , his explanations about the Shila kingdom and period, the tour organization to be able to see the most important sites without running . He manages all for you and share the address of restaurants. We recommand him a 100000% .
Ryan is amazing. We had the absolute best time with him. We learnt about the incredible history of the area, plus got given a whole heap of ideas about what to see and do next. Ryan made the day very special and enjoyable 😁
Great tour with Ryan! He is very knowledgeable and is passionate about the history of his city. We learned a ton and enjoyed Gyeongju to the fullest. Ryan also gave us additional tips outside the planned tour and is highly recommended! His level of English is excellent!
My friend and I had an incredible time with Ryan. He was very responsive before hand, giving us lots of Gyeongju recommendations and answering questions. He is a great and interactive storyteller, and we learned a lot! As a Gyeongju native, he has a unique perspective on the area. Not only do you learn a lot about the history and the region but also about his childhood memories and how things have changed. He also took us to the best pottery studio with an incredibly talented local artist, which I truly appreciated. Can’t recommend him enough for your experience.
We didn't leave feeling like we'd taken a tour - we left feeling like we'd traveled through time. We spent a wonderful afternoon exploring Gyeongju with Ryan, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Korea. What stood out wasn't simply the number of places we visited, but how Ryan connected them into one story. At each stop, he shared the history of the Silla Kingdom, Buddhism, and Korean culture in a way that was engaging and approachable. It never felt like a lecture or a checklist of facts. Instead, it felt like traveling through time and understanding why these places still matter today. Ryan was also incredibly flexible. He adapted the pace to our family, answered every question with patience, and encouraged us to slow down and simply take in the surroundings. That made the experience feel personal rather than scripted. By the end of the tour, we didn't just feel like we had seen Gyeongju - we felt like we had begun to understand it. Ryan has a gift for sharing not only information, but the spirit and magic of the Silla Kingdom. We finished the evening with dinner in Gyeongju, and it was the perfect conclusion to the day. Between the history, the conversations, and the genuine warmth we experienced, it became much more than a sightseeing tour. It was an authentic introduction to Korean culture, hospitality, and the timeless beauty of Gyeongju. If you're looking for someone who can help you connect with Korea rather than simply show it to you, we couldn't recommend Ryan more highly. Also, can’t wait to hike Namsan next time with Ryan!
We had an absolutely brilliant day exploring Gyeongju with Ryan, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From the very beginning, his communication and planning were top-notch. He designed a flawless, stress-free itinerary for our group of three that completely maximized our time. Ryan picked us up right from Gyeongju Station and accommodated all of our luggage so we didn't have to waste time backtracking. He spent the morning giving us a fantastic introduction to the Silla Kingdom while guiding us through the city's key UNESCO World Heritage sites. His deep historical knowledge brought the ancient history to life in a way that was incredibly engaging. For lunch, Ryan took us to an amazing local restaurant for Korean food, but it wasn't just the typical dishes you usually think of—it was a unique, fantastic local culinary experience that we loved! In the afternoon, we headed to the breathtaking Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto. What truly sets Ryan apart is his thoughtful pacing and honest advice. Instead of rushing us, he perfectly timed the tour to end right around our accommodation check-in so we could rest. He even gave us brilliant, practical recommendations for exploring atmospheric night sites like Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond independently, and suggested the National Museum for the next morning before our train to Busan. His pricing is incredibly fair for the high level of private service he provides. If you want an authentic, insightful, and perfectly tailored experience in Gyeongju, do yourself a favor and book Ryan!
Despite being travelers who typically “tour” ourselves, we cannot recommend Ryan highly enough. He is personable, conscientious, reliable, knowledgeable, passionate about Gyeongju, and his English is impeccable. A native Korean who has lived abroad and traveled widely, he is worldly and sensitive to the needs of travelers. Also, he combines discipline with spontaneity and understood our interests well––taking us to insider destinations and local eateries. He even found creative and successful solutions for our vegetarianism. We could not have done better and feel we made a friend.
