Il tuo primo luogo di visita sarà probabilmente a Siena, che è considerato l'unico modello vivente della città medievale. Ammira la Cattedrale e la piazza principale della città, Piazza del Campo, uno spazio urbano unico nel suo genere con la sua forma a conchiglia che è sempre stato il principale centro per le attività politiche e commerciali nell'antica Repubblica senese, ed è il sito di la famosa corsa di cavalli del Palio delle Contrade che si svolge due volte l'anno.
Il cuore di Siena è la sua piazza unica nel suo genere, l'imponente Piazza del Campo, dove puoi fare una passeggiata e ammirare il panorama.
Oltre ai panorami mozzafiato dei vigneti e degli uliveti, il Chianti è conosciuto dai turisti soprattutto per le sue abbazie, ville, castelli, cantine e ristoranti. Per questo motivo il viaggio stesso è un magnifico percorso lungo le strade della Toscana, dove è possibile godere della vista di colline ricoperte di vigneti, ulivi, piccoli borghi e originali campanili. Ma la parola “Chianti” per ogni italiano significa soprattutto una cosa: buon vino! Per questo motivo, durante il viaggio il tuo autista/guida ti preparerà per le degustazioni di vino che avrai durante questo tour giornaliero. All'arrivo a San Gimignano, ammirare lo skyline caratteristico che vanta 13 torri medievali. Abbracciati dal caldo bagliore della luce del sole di metà mattina, le antiche torri e le mura merlate della città proiettano lunghe ombre sul paesaggio circostante. Punti salienti da non perdere, Piazza della Cisterna, che prende il nome dal pozzo ritrovato al centro e circondato da palazzi incontaminati del XIII e XIV secolo; e Piazza del Duomo (Cattedrale). Entra nella maestosa chiesa romanica del XII secolo per splendide vedute interne. Numerosi negozi si trovano lungo via San Giovanni e via San Matteo.

This service was an excellent way to travel fro Rome to Florence. The provider service Driver in Italy was very professional and drove safely. He also provides some insight along the way of things to do to further enjoy our trip.

It was a nice ride, but this was transportation and did not include any information or anything else that would qualify as a 'tour.' Given that, we would not have paid anything close to this amount. You're better off just booking transportation or renting a car or looking elsewhere and confirming that you will have a driver with at least some basic information and knowledge to share along the way. Followed-up via Viator afterwards to request a partial refund given that the price paid was commensurate with other tours vs. just rides but they were unable to help.

Our driver Mr. Daniele was so sweet and friendly. He was a wonderful driver and was very willing to be on our schedule. He made us feel so comfortable visiting places at our own pace and even suggested visiting a small castle which turned out to be one of our favorite stops. It was a fun and memorable experience and probably the most comfortable transit method during our trip. I would definitely recommend and would consider reserving again if we were to visit Italy in the future.

We used the services of “Driver in Italy” for several tours / transfers during our trip to Italy. I highly recommend asking for Alberto to be your driver….honestly one the nicest drivers, fun to be around and very knowledgeable as well. He picked us up at the airport, showed us Rome (night tour was fabulous too!), transferred us to Florence with stops at several “hill towns” I wanted to see, another day of exploring Siena & San Gimignano, and then a transfer from Florence to Venice (with a stop at the Ferrari museum)! This company is easy to work with and Alberto was just THE best. They helped make our trip stress free and more enjoyable!
