Si dice che il ponte di osservazione Baqi sia il "punto di svolta" più bello della strada. Quando guidi qui da Hualien City, mentre attraversi i tornanti, noterai che lo scenario cambia improvvisamente dalle montagne verdeggianti su entrambi i lati al vasto Oceano Pacifico, con la catena costiera che svetta maestosa.
Dashibishan Trail è ben progettato, e lo scenario della terrazza panoramica è curativo. Ci vogliono solo circa 15 minuti per raggiungere una vista incredibile dell'orizzonte oceanico, e il magnifico cavalletto di legno con il cielo blu, le montagne e il mare come sfondo. Shihmen Recreation Area è un'area geologica unica sulla costa della contea di Hualien. È famosa per la sua grande grotta a forma di auto. È ancora un bellissimo e unico tratto di costa. Shimen significa letteralmente "porta di roccia" prende il nome dalle grotte lungo la costa qui. L’area è costituita da roccia sedimentaria dura posta sopra arenaria più morbida, che dopo migliaia di anni di onde dall’oceano, crea formazioni rocciose uniche.
Essendo una delle attrazioni più famose della costa orientale, Shitiping è conosciuta per la sua speciale geologia del terreno marino tra cui le piattaforme tagliate a onde, le barriere coralline sollevate, le scogliere e le buche. Potete vedere i pesci tropicali in pozze di marea da buche e altre forme di vita marina abitano qui.

Il lago Liyu è il più grande lago nella parte orientale di Taiwan. In questa zona potrete praticare varie attività, come la vela in pedalò o il ciclismo intorno al lago. Si può anche passeggiare lungo la passerella lungo il lago, apprezzando la flora e la fauna lì. La zona panoramica del lago Liyu è adatta a tutte le età, soprattutto per tutta la famiglia. Quando il sole tramonta, le nuvole e le montagne si riflettono sul lago e il paesaggio è abbastanza bello.

This was a really unique tour! Jade hunting was such a memorable experience for me! Our tour guide Jimmy is an expert jade hunter so we were able to get at least one piece of jade.

This was our 2nd private, full-day tour with our great driver-guide, Sam, and he didn't disappoint! We started out renting kayaks for paddling on the pretty Lake Liyu, followed by fun "jade-hunting" in a shallow river (we actually found a tiny piece!) We had spicy beef noodle soup and sides at a tiny local shop for lunch which was nice. We stopped at many very cool places along the East Coast that had amazing "other-worldly" rock formations like Shitipi and Shimen Cave. We also hiked up Dashibi Hill through amazing vegetation for spectacular coastal views! We really enjoyed both of our full-day tours with our knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating driver-guide, Sam!

I love the tailored itinerary. This is my first time coming to Taiwan and I found Amazing Taiwan Tour through someone’s blog so naturally I asked them for recommendation. They are very helpful in giving suggestions and our guide Alex is amazing! Very cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He was able to bring us to some hidden spots for pictures! Fully recommend this company for those coming to Hualien! ❤️ As a suggestion, perhaps can consider adding a specific tour to visit and meet the aboriginal tribes (if possible).
