In questo tour con trasporto privato visiteremo la costa settentrionale di Taiwan, incluso un curioso parco geologico con incredibili formazioni rocciose, una piccola città con una cascata soprannominata la "Piccola Niagara di Taiwan" e Jiufen, una pittoresca cittadina di montagna che sembra uscito dal film “La città incantata” del maestro Hayao Miyazaki.

Itinerario
In mattinata passeremo a prendervi in hotel e ci dirigeremo verso la costa nord di Taiwan per visitare Yehliu, un parco geologico che ospita numerose formazioni rocciose dalle figure sorprendenti, risultato dell'erosione marina nel corso dei secoli.
Dopo aver visitato Yehliu entreremo nelle montagne del nord di Taiwan per scoprire la cascata Shifen, soprannominata la “Piccola Niagara di Taiwan”. Una meraviglia naturale che vi lascerà senza fiato. Con un'altezza impressionante di 20 metri e una larghezza maestosa di 40 metri, questa cascata offre uno spettacolo visivo e uditivo che ti immerge nella grandiosità della natura.
Infine visiteremo la città fotografica di Jiufen. Questa piccola cittadina si trova sul fianco della montagna e gode di una vista mozzafiato sulle rive dell'Oceano Pacifico. Jiufen ospita un mercato lungo la strada principale, dove possiamo assaggiare prelibatezze locali – come cupcakes all'ananas o un polpettone con pasta di riso – e visitare i laboratori e le botteghe degli artigiani che si sono stabiliti a Jiufen. La città è famosa per le tradizionali case da tè nascoste nei suoi vicoli tortuosi e per le lanterne rosse che decorano le sue strade, che infondono a Jiufen un fascino speciale. Ma non solo passeggeremo e ammireremo vicoli, negozi e panorami spettacolari, ma avremo anche l'opportunità di pranzare in una delle famose case da tè con vista privilegiata sulla costa e sulle montagne che circondano questo villaggio da sogno.

Andy was very communicative with arrival time and knowledgeable about the sites visited. The car was comfortable and impeccably clean and well appointed. We had plenty of time to linger in places that were interesting and he even ended up sending us a car to take us to the airport the next day.
We had a great day exploring the North Coast of Taiwan. Andy is a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge about the area and its history. The day was well-paced and we have a load of photos to commemorate our visit.
It’s a curated private tour experience with the convenience seeing sights at your own pace. Cristian was a very warm, hospitable, conscientious, and knowledgeable driver/tour guide. This is a perfect itinerary for a day tour, and I would definitely recommend it.
The Geopark, Jiufen and Shifen can be very crowded. Learning more from Samuel, our guide, about the sites were very informative and interesting. Samuel's knowledge of where to traverse made it more efficient. Would love to do another tour with him the next time we visit Taipei.
Wilson was fantastic! He picked us up at our Hotel and the vehicle was a Mercedes Van that was very comfortable for the day trip. He was very knowledgable about the locations and handled everything and kept us to perfect schedule. He also took fantastic pictures and compiled a great video for us at the end of the trip. I would highly recommend this trip if you are looking for great day trip. 5 stars for sure!

Our family had a perfect private tour with Samuel. He picked us up just as planned and made sure we had a great day. Yehliu, Shifen, and Jiufen are all popular tourist destinations and Samuel was well informed and navigated everything so we could just relax and enjoy what we were seeing. He was happy to adjust the plan a bit for us and we also got some really great pictures! Don’t hesitate to book this, and I think extra cost of a private tour is well worth it for these sites.

Got us to the right places at the right times and no hanging around for others. Just for parking in the right places and the restaurant booking it was worth the extra of a private tour. Geo Park, waterfall and Jiufen (sp?) all good and all different. Train St was a nice additional stop.
