Alle 5 o alle 6 del mattino, il tuo autista ti verrà a prendere e si dirigerà verso Haridwar, che dista circa 5 ore di auto. La tua prima tappa sarà Har ki Pauri. Considerato uno dei Ghati più sacri del paese, Har Ki Pauri è presumibilmente il primo luogo in cui Ganga tocca le pianure, lasciandosi alle spalle le catene incontaminate dell'Himalaya. Il ghat è anche conosciuto come Brahma Kund dove si può vedere la pietra che ha un’impronta del piede del Signore Vishnu, come indicato dal nome. Potrai anche esplorare due ponti a Rishikesh. Il primo è il Lakshman Jhula, il popolare ponte sospeso sul fiume sacro Ganga. Questo Jhula lungo 450 piedi è costruito ad un'altezza di 70 piedi dal fiume e dista circa 3 km dalla città principale di Rishikesh. L'altro ponte è Ram Jhula che è il ponte di ferro Parallax sul fiume Ganga a Rishikesh. Ram Jhula è il ponte più recente che prende il nome dal fratello di Lakshman, Lord Ram.

We had an unforgettable day trip from Delhi to Haridwar and Rishikesh. The journey was long, but absolutely worth it! Our guide Ajay was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the history, culture, temples, and spiritual importance of both cities beautifully. The highlight of the tour was experiencing the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri — it was truly magical and deeply moving. Our driver Ravi was punctual, professional, and drove safely throughout the journey. Everything was well organized from pickup to drop-off. A wonderful experience and highly recommended for anyone visiting India!
Ajay was a great tour guide! He took us on a walk to a beautiful beach with sparkling sand and cows that bathed in the sun. Such a magical place.

Ajay was a great tour guide. He took us to some beautiful places including a beach with sparkling sand! It’s also not every day you’re on a beach and there’s a cow laying in the sand soaking up the sun.

I took part in a fantastic tour in Haridwar and Rishikesh, the sacred sites of the Ganges River, which had a particularly positive effect on me. Ajay is a wonderful guide! He answered all my many questions with good humor and lots of information. The scenery is amazing and the many temples and religions were lovely to see and learn about. It was a great day, well worth the drive. Highly recommended!!

This tour is wonderful and the organization was perfect. We had a little glitch at first, but the organizer did well to meet our request. The day is long, but rich in beautiful scenery and moments.

An interesting tour, but a long drive (4 hours each way from/back to Delhi). Visited the various Ghats and Ashrams which were included on the tour, and also a Hindu temple (Glass Temple) which was unlike any other I have visited. I felt the tour could have been shortened as there was quite a time gap between the earlier visits and the start of the evening Aarti ceremony. Pickup arrangements were all fine and good driver and guide.
