Ritenuto uno dei Ghats più sacri del paese, Har Ki Pauri è presumibilmente il primo luogo in cui Ganga tocca le pianure, lasciandosi alle spalle le distese incontaminate dell'Himalaya. Esplora Lakshman Jhula- Il famoso ponte sospeso sul fiume sacro Ganga, Lakshman Jhula è un noto punto di riferimento a Rishikesh, nell'Uttarakhand. Questo Jhula di 450 piedi di lunghezza è costruito ad un'altezza di 70 piedi dal fiume ed è a circa 3 km di distanza dalla città principale di Rishikesh

Swarg Ashram incorpora anche alcuni bistrot, negozi, edifici per lo shopping, biblioteche, parchi, centri di contemplazione, dispensari ayurvedici, ristoranti e osterie. La zona si trova in mezzo alle pendici del bosco, con eccellenti piantagioni e un'aria libera dalle contaminazioni di una città meccanizzata. Il territorio comprende numerosi ashram espansivi, in gran parte alcune strutture di storie, con diverse stanze che si riempiono come quartieri privati per chierici, esploratori, esperti e turisti che cercano un insediamento conservatore.

. Migliaia di persone visitano i ghat del Gange ad Har ki Pauri ad Haridwar per assistere all'aarti iniziato molti decenni fa da Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya. La tradizione continua senza sosta. L'aarti è lo spettacolo da vedere; Sarai dall'altra parte delle rive e potresti vedere i preti accendere le lampade. Lentamente, hanno iniziato a spostare le lampade in senso orario, in modo ritmico. Il riflesso delle lampade era visibile sul Gange. Sembrava che il fiume riconoscesse le preghiere che le venivano offerte togliendo tutti i fiori e le lampade ghee che le venivano offerte su piccoli dona. Il possente Ganga aveva una forte corrente che era indicativa del suo scopo di amare la vita incondizionatamente tutti coloro che arrivavano alle sue sponde. Il fiume non usa mai la propria acqua ma scorre a beneficio di altri che placano la loro sete spirituale sulle sue rive.

Ajay was an outstanding tour guide and an exceptional driver — not a single honk the entire journey! As a female solo traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the trip. His deep knowledge of Rishikesh and Haridwar made the experience truly meaningful and spiritual. I highly recommend Ajay for an unforgettable, peaceful, and insightful journey!
A fantastic day with our excellent guide RJ. Very knowledgeable, speaking excellent English, about our destinations and also local areas as we drove through them. Very safe driver, had no worries throughout the day - he also never used his car horn - amazing for Delhi!!!!!!! Would recommend to anybody as it was like having a day out with a friend….👍👍😀😀
An excellent trip to Rishikesh and Haridwar to explore India’s spiritual sites. Our guide and driver, Arjay was fantastic. He spoke excellent English, had a great sense of humour and had an excellent knowledge that he was able to share. Not only that but he was an excellent driver, super safe without the use of a horn!! I we felt like we had spent the day with a friend. I would thoroughly recommend this trip!!
Picked up on time ,good communication beforehand. Long drive but my driver spoke excellent English and was able to help wile away the hours. Thankfully he didn't use the horn constantly like what seemed every other driver on the road .Richkesh was a comfortable stroll over 2 bridges. Foothills of the Himalayas look stunning. Guide explained all the required information in English. Haridwar was a Hindi ceremony on the holy Ganges river,which was a deeply spiritual moment for all the devotees.. An enjoyable day was had, thanks again!
Had an amazing experience and got more then I bargain for.My tour guide Ankit was very knowledgeable and I told him that I took the tour to further my knowledge in Hinduism and he gave me a first hand experience, helping me understand more about the culture and making me feel very welcome. My driver was also very nice and curtious and made additional stops for us to find really good Indian food.look forward to coming back.
We had a lovely day - Jyoti our driver did a great job, both driving and showing us about Haridwar and getting good spot to watch the river ceremony, just a shame he did not speak more English as it would have been good to understand more about the river ceremony. Our Guide Ankit was very accomodating, backtracking when the need arose and also very interesting history and spiritual culture of Rishikesh. Great to see the source of the Ganges and home of the yoga practice and learnt heaps about the Hindu faith.

It has beeen a great experience, even if with a long trip to do to arrive at destination. The guide and the driver have been fantastic friend for all the day. I have done a little bath in the gange.. 😁 I babbei assisted also to the arti . I davi e the tour!
Great place and great organisation. My excellent driver Pawan picked me up on time, drove very safely in spite of difficult situation with pilgrimage and lots of people walking on the highway... He spoke English well and explained a lot already on the way, and brought me water, chai, bananas all the time. In Rishikesh, enjoyed a very nice combined tour and yoga session with my local guide there. Highly recommended
That was a great and overwehlmed experienced in haridwar (Rishikesh). We had such a great experience in visiting in such divine place , haridwar is ssuch a place with divine energy , playing such important role in history showing tradition of india , , we also experienced the ganga arti giving all reasons to make our trip unforgetable, we had such great experience with Mr. Ajay such a gentleman, so comforting , givinh all important information about places where we should go and what to do .
