Excellent, attentive host and a very comfortable experience. Host offered a variety of activities and worked around what we wanted. Gave a great insight into the area and wider history of Morocco and further- in particular Berber culture. Due to some confusion we arrived to return from the tour late. Hassan was very understanding.

This tour with our guide Hamid, was excellent. He picked us up at our hotel in a Mercedes SUV which was clean and comfortable. Hamid allowed us ample time to take photos of the goats in the trees on our way to Essaouira. Once we reached the city, he showed us the “blue boats”, then it was on to our favorite activity ... shopping! Hamid was a real trooper. We told him he didn’t have to stay with us but he chose to remain at our sides even though we probably browsed through every store in the shopping district. He even tugged around an extra suitcase my co-traveler had to buy who then kept filling it with more souvenirs! He brought us to a rooftop restaurant that overlooked the Atlantic for a fabulous seafood lunch. It was a fun, relaxing day. To put the icing on the cake, he contacted us the next day to inform us I left my bag of Argan oil in his SUV. Somehow, it had slipped under the seat & I never realized it was missing (had too many other bags of souvenirs). He was gracious enough to deliver it to our hotel. I would have been upset to leave Morocco without the pure oils that many of my friends asked me to bring back for them. Hamid went above and beyond taking good care of us and ensuring we had a unforgettable, memorable day. This was our best day out of the 4 we spent in Marrakech.

Hamid was a wonderful guide. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Vehicle was a Mercedes van, clean and comfortable. Hamid gave us plenty of time to view the “goats in the trees” and take photos. Too funny. Watched local ladies processing Argan oil from the nuts obtained from Argan trees. Very interesting, purchased lots of oil. We particularly wanted to do a lot of shopping in a Essaouira, he obliged us by showing us the shops then stayed with us during our lengthy browsing. Had to buy another suitcase to bring souvenirs home! He then took us to a marvelous rooftop restaurant that overlooked the Atlantic. Lovely meal. Felt totally safe with Hamid. This was our best day out of 4 days of touring Marrakech and the surrounding area. I highly recommend this tour and guide “Hamid”. What a wonderful experience!
