L'ultima parte della giornata ci porterà alla fortezza di Rasnov oa Poiana Brasov. E poiché ci piace essere flessibili, ti suggeriamo di scegliere tu stesso l'ultima fermata. Quindi, se sei un appassionato di storia e non vuoi perderti la Fortezza di Rasnov, puoi scegliere di visitarla. In alternativa, possiamo andare a Poiana Brasov, per una piacevole passeggiata nella località montana più famosa della Romania. Quindi, se hai deciso di visitare la Transilvania e scoprire la sua storia, sei nel posto giusto. Questo viaggio è adatto sia a gruppi privati che a viaggiatori indipendenti. La prima tappa che facciamo è al Castello di Peles. È considerato il più importante complesso architettonico storico (di influenza tedesca) in Romania. Per il suo valore storico e artistico, rimane uno dei monumenti più importanti e belli d'Europa e una delle attrazioni turistiche più visitate della Romania (2° posto dopo il Castello di Bran). Il castello ti impressionerà sicuramente per la sua opulenza, per il fatto che ha 160 stanze, e che a suo tempo era completamente elettrificato. Aveva anche un ascensore e un soffitto di vetro mobile che si apriva su richiesta. Il re era solito stupire i suoi ospiti mostrando loro il cielo notturno stellato estivo.
Prossima tappa: il castello di Dracula, presumibilmente la residenza del conte Dracula Non ti pentirai un momento se scegli di visitare questo castello, soprattutto perché si trova abbastanza vicino a Brasov. Rimarrai semplicemente incantato dalla bellezza del castello e soprattutto dalla posizione e dai dintorni. Per questo vi invito a lasciatevi trasportare dalla storia e dalla cultura e ve ne andrete di casa con una straordinaria carica positiva della vostra anima. Il castello di Bran è ricco di storia. Il personaggio del conte Dracula appare per la prima volta nel romanzo "Dracula", scritto dallo scrittore irlandese Bram Stoker e pubblicato nel 1897 in Inghilterra. In origine il nome Dracula non è affatto spaventoso. Deriva dal nome dato a un ordine di crociati, l'Ordine del Drago, al quale erano associati sia Vlad l'Impalatore che suo padre Vlad Dracul (membro di questo ordine).
L'ultima tappa è a tua scelta: Fortezza di Rasnov o Poiana Brasov La fortezza di Râșnov è una delle fortezze più belle del paese rumeno. È stato scelto da molti registi per le riprese in varie epoche, uno dei film più importanti girati qui è Cold Mountain, il film premio Oscar con Nicole Kidman. Questo picco roccioso è stato difeso fin dai tempi dei Daci, più di duemila anni fa, come dimostrano recenti scoperte archeologiche. In un'epoca in cui il castello di Bran non era ancora stato costruito, Rasnov era un punto importante per il commercio e la tassazione dei mercanti da parte del regno. Da qui si possono vedere le creste del Bucegi, il Massiccio Postăvaru e Piatra Craiului. Puoi anche vedere quasi l'intera città di Râșnov, una combinazione di cultura rumena e sassone, situata a 650 m di altitudine.
Poiana Brasov è la località di montagna più ambita e popolare di tutto il paese. Qui, inverno dopo inverno, si radunano migliaia di turisti appassionati di sport invernali come lo sci e lo snowboard. Poiana Brasov assomiglia ad una piccola città, con alberghi lussuosi e buoni ristoranti ed è di gradimento per tutti coloro che scelgono di trascorrere qui qualche giorno. Negli ultimi anni sono apparse nuove e moderne location, aumentando il comfort e la soddisfazione dei turisti. Sono stati costruiti alberghi e pensioni, rifugi turistici, una chiesa, una pista di pattinaggio, uno zoo, una piscina, campi sportivi, palestre, piste attrezzate con innevamento artificiale e impianti notturni, impianti di risalita, seggiovie, funivie. Una passeggiata a Poiana Brasov può essere proprio ciò di cui hai bisogno dopo una giornata piena di storia. La scelta è tua!

Friendly, chilled and informative guide. Provided options and flexibility when attractions were closed, which meant we had the opportunity to get into the mountain villages for amazing landscape views. Lovely experience and a great trip around the Brasov region.

To anyone not sure whether they should spend the extra money on a private tour, I would say absolutely yes! Dinu, our guide was absolutely fantastic. We arrived to Brasov by train from Budapest and had to leave again for a very specific train to continue to Bucharest that night. He monitored our train's progress and was there to greet us at the station as we arrived and he made sure that we were back in time for our evening train too. At every step, he was happy to customise our tour to our liking including taking us to a couple of food spots to try out some traditional dishes. The tour has quite a bit of driving, but there was never an awkward moment between him telling us about the history of Romania and the castles, answering our questions and just sharing stories from our lives. He offered to take lots of pictures of us and patiently waited (and joined!) when we wanted to say hi to the local cats 😅 Dinu made sure that our tour was a memory that will last forever and we wish him all the best.

I spent three wonderful days traveling with Ramona and Radu, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Each day was thoughtfully planned and completely different, showcasing a wide range of sites and experiences. On the first day, we visited the fortified churches of Prejmer and Hărman, followed by time in Poiana Brașov. It was a perfect introduction to the region’s history and scenery. The second day took us off the beaten path to the Vâltorile de la Lisa (Lisa Whirlpools), the Moara cu Noroc de la Ohaba (Lucky Ohaba Mill), and the impressive Făgăraș Fortress. This day was especially memorable for its mix of local traditions and medieval history. On the third day, we explored some of Romania’s most beautiful castles: Peleș, Pelișor, and Cantacuzino, each with its own unique character and story. Ramona and Radu were fantastic throughout the entire trip. Ramona was wonderful to work with during the planning process. She listened carefully to what I wanted to see, communicated openly, and helped create an itinerary that felt personal and well‑balanced. The pricing was fair, and there were no surprises. Both Ramona and Radu were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend traveling with Day Trips Brasov!

Ramona was fantastic. She did everything she could to ensure we had a great experience. We were first in to Peles Castle and therefore could experience with minimum disruption from crowds infront of us. This did mean going through at a pace but still enough time to listen and view it all. The Citadel was not available so she offered an alternative experience and offered advice on best ways to maximise time and money. She was knowledgeable on the history of the area and shared this with passion. Her vehicle was comfortable and clean.

What a legend! Dinu, our tour guide, was not only super knowledgeable but also hilarious and so much fun to hang out with. He has this way of making history and culture feel exciting instead of boring, and he sprinkled in just the right amount of jokes and stories to keep us entertained the whole time. Honestly, it felt like exploring with a really smart friend who knows all the secret spots. He made sure everyone felt comfortable, answered every random question we threw at him, and somehow managed to make the whole group laugh and learn at the same time. Definitely the highlight of our trip! Now here’s the twist—we didn’t even want to leave this review. Not because he wasn’t amazing (he totally was), but because he’s our little secret and we don’t want anyone stealing him from us. But he insisted we write something, so fine… here it is. I hope he is not booked by somebody else when we come back 😂!
