Tour privato in bicicletta pomeridiano a Hida-Furukawa

I had a guided cycling tour of 3.5 hours in Hida last May. We were a small but very funny and curious group of 5 people. Our guide, Nanami took us across the surrounding country side of Hida, with stops on meaningful places, she talked about rice from plantation to harvest, traditions and about wildlife. She was plenty of explanations replying to our questions about Japanese culture and over rice planting. Really worth the Journey.

I had a wonderful time on the bike tour. The equipment was in good condition and the guide, Char, was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot. I saw beautiful scenery and got to meet and visit a local resident's farm house. The length of the tour was booked through the travel agency I used so I didn't have a choice about duration. if I return to this area I'll use this company again and would want to go on a longer tour since I enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend both the company and the tour guide, Char.

We had a great time with Hisa on our walking/cycling tour. We were lucky with weather and the scenery was beautiful! It was nice to see a less touristed area just outside of Takayama.

Ayato led us on a lovely cycle tour around Hida-Furukawa a couple of weeks ago. We had a great time in this beautiful area and learned so much about this part of Japan and its warm and welcoming people. Ayato’s very knowledgeable and engaging with a deep knowledge of Hida. It was a real highlight of our recent trip to Japan.

This was a highlight of our trip to the area, our guide Ayoto was superb, he was extremely knowledgeable about the area, friendly and helpful. His English language was excellent and he got on extremely well with us all particularly our girls who are 16 and 14 He also went out of his way to accommodate us as we had a tight time frame having to get back to Takayama in time for an evening appointment. Ayoto knowing time was tight drove us to the train station.

Really great bike ride among the rice fields and town! Hisa is fabulous- very friendly and knowledgeable! We enjoyed learning about how rice is grown and enjoyed being in the beautiful countryside! We also were able to see some of the cows that are raised for Hida beef. We rode through some parts of the town and along the river path. It was an easy train ride back to Takayama where we were staying.

Yesterday we were allowed to do a great slow tour through and around Hidari with our guide Ayato in the best weather and in great company (small group of 6 participants in total). We were traveling with our 6-year-old daughter and he was super considerate. In best English he instructed us and provided us with great information (rice growing, animals, etc.) on the way, even the rare Kamoshika (jap. Serau) we have discovered! With a short tea break just before completion he surprised us additionally - highly recommended. Unfortunately, our taxi arrived at the end (we still had to reach a bus from Takayama) and so we could no longer purchase fine cookies from the neighboring biscuit factory.

Great tour outside the beaten tracks to visit around Hida Furukawa. The tour was easy and Ayato our guide was super nice!

The leaders (Kakuki and Roy) were amazing - interesting, caring and helpful. The pace was just right. I could not fault it. ( This was actually a tour we took with 6 complete strangers, but that didn't seem to be on the list of possible options to select for review)

My partner and I had a fabulous afternoon cycling around the Hida-Furukawa countryside. This was the first time I had been cycling in over 20 years and our guide, Kazuki, was very supportive, helping me to get my confidence back and ensuring we were both safe. Thank you!
