Itinerario
Il nostro tour inizierà con un incontro presso la hall del tuo hotel o un punto di incontro designato se il tuo hotel non si trova all'interno della zona. Inizieremo la nostra passeggiata di 6 km sul sentiero principale dal Petra Visitor Center, passando per il Siq fino al Tesoro. Successivamente, saliremo su una montagna per una vista panoramica del teatro, seguita da visite alle Tombe Reali, Colonnaded Street e Qasr Al-Bint. Questa parte del tour dura in genere circa 3 ore, a seconda del ritmo, con un minimo di 2,5 ore. Si prega di notare che la salita al Monastero non è inclusa in questo itinerario. Tuttavia, possiamo discutere di visitarla verso la fine del tour. Se desiderate visitare il Monastero, dovrete salire 850 gradini. In alternativa, si può tornare al Visitor Center attraverso il sentiero principale, che dura da 1 a 1,5 ore. Se preferisci non tornare a piedi al Visitor Center, sono disponibili golf cart opzionali dal punto finale del nostro tour al Visitor Center al costo di 25 JOD a persona .

We had an amazing experience on our private tour of Petra with Bassil! He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional throughout the entire tour. He shared so much interesting history about Petra and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Bassil was patient, answered all of our questions, and made the experience feel very personal and special. He also took some absolutely incredible photos of us throughout Petra — we were so impressed with how beautiful they came out and are extremely grateful to him for capturing those memories for us! Seeing Petra was already a dream come true, but having Bassil as our guide made it even more unforgettable. Thank you, Bassil, for your hospitality, your knowledge, and the amazing photos! It was a wonderful adventure! Our Guide Bassil was very professional and brought all the necessary information on point. Every question was answered! Although the western media is warning about travels to Jordan we can tell you it’s is absolutely peaceful and safe!!!
We came to Jordan from the US despite all the bad press the Middle East is getting due to the war. Jordan is very safe, and there are no crowds! Bassil has guided in Petra for 18 years and not only knows Petra, but knows all the vendors and service providers in Petra. We had such a great experience with him the first day, we booked him to take us in the back entrance on the next day.
Tour guide is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He also gave us some freedom to tailor the spots we wanted to visit. Would totally recommend.
We had the best experience with Bassil on our first visit to Petra. He made a long day of walking easy and it was clear from the start how much he enjoyed his job and how knowledgeable he was about the area. Absolutely one of our favorite guides of the trip- he got us through some big sites in the first three hours and then gave us his recommendations for the rest of the day. Truly lived up to all our hopes and we can’t stop recommending Petra to be added to everyone’s travel wish list immediately! Given the conflict in the region, we had the site mostly to ourselves. It was amazing for us, but sad to see for the local economy. Everyone should stop questioning it and just book! Amazing experience.

Bassil was such a wonderful guide - friendly and personable. Our conversations were so enlightening, not only about Petra, but Jordan, and the differences between our countries, be it education, homes, energy and more. Highly, highly recommend. As a side note, we travelled during March 2026, and nearly had Petra to ourselves due to reduced tourism due to the conflict in the Middle East - we felt very safe and would encourage others that are considering a visit to go.
We had an excellent experience with our private tour guide Bassil in Petra.
