Altri edifici degni di nota includono l'edificio Old Nederlandsche Bank.

I made up doing this tour yesterday because there was a company paper that claimed to be 600 rands on Tuesdays. When the hotel receptionist called there they gave the price of 1000 rands and changed the time, no more 14h, to 12h.All right, the guide arrived, I took the van and we went to Freedom museum. It started to rain a lot and so it was throughout the afternoon and night.I couldn't see beauty thanks to rain, but 1000 rands to go to a museum, a palace and a square is a lot, especially that I went by car from the hotel even to 3 museums, on different days, and I didn't pay anything. Now I know why they don't want to call the agency. No card for payment, only cash.
Dear Caro. Our Pretoria City tour does not include the Freedom Park. Our rate for the Pretoria City tour on a Tuesday afternoon is R950. Can you supply us with a booking number, the date of travel and the hotel where you stayed. It does not seem that you travelled with Ulysses Tours. We will gladly assist in any further questions.
Gratham was our tour guide & driver for our Pretoria half day city tour today with Ulysses . Bus was perfect size for our 6 pax party & very clean. Driver was prompt & extremely informative & went above & beyond, joining us for lunch (this was not part of the tour), stopping at an ATM for us to draw cash & did not rush the tour at all, even extending beyond the original completion time.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that you and your group enjoyed your Pretoria half-day city tour with Gratham and Ulysses. It’s great to know that the vehicle was comfortable and spotless, and that Gratham’s professionalism, flexibility, and informative guiding made such a positive impression. Going above and beyond for our guests is something we truly value, and we’re so pleased that his extra efforts — from assisting with the ATM stop to ensuring you never felt rushed — helped make your experience even more memorable. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again on another tour in the future!
We were picked up by Gratham Prinsloo our guide for this tour. We then embarked on an amazing tour of this incredible city. Gratham was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the historical significance of Pretoria. In all honesty I had some reservations about visiting Pretoria and although I appreciate there are issues surrounding safety concerns this guided tour was enlightening and I am so very grateful to have had this experience in this city. Gratham is a credit to Ulysses Tours and to the city he has so beautifully represented today, I will go home and further my own knowledge on all that we saw and heard. Thank you Gratham.
Good morning Marie01-thanks for taking the time to write a review. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and had a great experience visiting Pretoria Thank you also for the kind words regarding Gratham - I I'll be sure to pass this on to him. Kind regards
Our Guide Bo was very friendly and knowledgeable. He picked us up at our hotel and drove us up to the Unions Buildings, Mandela statue, Church square, Kruger house and Vortrekker Monument. He gave us a lot of historic background which we found very valuable at the start of our travels in South Africa.
I did the Pretoria, Soweto and Apartheid Museum tours with Lucky. It was just great. I got a great impression of the area and the country as a whole.
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as there are LOTS of stairs to climb. The monument is quite well kept.
A private visit to the Voortrekker Monument with guests from Malta proved most interesting and considerably more accessible than visits of the past. The installation of various aids (railings on the steps), an indoor lift and a toilet for disabled visitors helped make the visit easier and more complete. The Monument and its surrounding gardens and game reserve are all in good condition and well maintained. The quilting exhibition in the basement surrounding the plinth made this rather austere part of the Momunment more welcoming and friendly. The views from the top of the Monument are breathtaking particularly during Jacaranda Season when the splashes of purple colour enliven the capital city. Allow plenty of time to also explore the surrounding gardens and indigenous plants. A visit to the Voortrekker Monument is worth the effort of climbing those endless stairs.
This place has the most amazing historical frieze sculpted from Quercetta marble. There are 27 panels telling the story of the great trek. The view from the top of the monument is fabulous - well worth the climb. Take time to walk along the wagon laager wall too.
