Fabio's exposure in the vineyard and cellars is interesting. The tasting was good, however the Amarone deserved a more robust dish than the half quail in sauce! Thank you.
Intriguing experience, the Buglioni team immersed us with cordiality and passion in the innovation of research and curiosity for the evolution of wine
Very welcoming structure and very professional staff. You immediately notice the passion for what they do and the wines of excellent quality. I particularly appreciated Fabio's professionalism our guide who with great passion showed us and told the story of the winery and Buglioni family. The dinner with tasting was excellent, in short, I highly recommend staying and doing the proposed experiences of the structure.
Fabio accompanied us with skill and competence to discover the winery and its history that although not one of the oldest has so much to tell. We then moved to dinner where we tasted great food and wines. Risotto al Ripasso deserves a mention, really special!
We were greeted by Fabio who told us in great detail, all very interesting, how the vinification of the various blends of Buglioni takes place. We also appreciated his way of telling some anecdotes such as the choice of the names of the different bottles. The tour of the cellar is very complete. The tour also includes the Fruttaio, where traditionally takes place the slow drying of the grapes for the production of Amarone and Recioto and a tasting at the Locanda Buglioni. Among the different formulas proposed, we chose the one of 8 different wines that Fabio described and helped us discover. I also recommend the wonderful risotto and the cheese cart that offers a really wonderful selection.
The visit was really interesting, led by Fabio who was the perfect guide. We had a great time both in the guided tour of the winery and during the tasting in the Locanda Buglioni. The places are beautiful and all the staff great. Oh, congratulations. We hope to return!
Fabio is very nice and explain everything about Buglioni to us. It was a special moment for winery tour for. Fabio also kind to show us the appasimento room including new facility. The lunch was very good with the information of each wine pairing from Fabio. Also, wine is great. It was a pleasure memory and we will go back again if we have a chance to be in the area.
We arrived a little early and opted for an additional outdoor aperitif. For a paid aperitif I would have expected at least something to appetize: drinking on an empty stomach, waiting for lunch, was not a very careful choice towards the customer. Lunch started after about half an hour: discreet dishes but small portions and in my opinion Service times little coordinated with wine tastings. We also requested a further taste of risotto. There was also a misunderstanding with the wine specialist, later resolved, which made us miss the start of the tour. Considering the total cost of about 120 euros per person (90 euros for the tasting with lunch, 30 euros for the aperitif and a supplement for the tasting of risotto), I found the price excessive compared to the quality and attention to the customer. An experience with good potential, but one that could be managed with more care and coordination.
A very competent and informative guide through cellers and the drying rooms. The whole day was topped by a wonderful dinner. Five Stars for all!!!!!!!!!
Very interesting visit to the vineyard and wine cellars with a passionate explanation by Fabio. Also the tasting was excellent!
