È qui che inizia il nostro tour. Ci sono due importanti monumenti a Klarov. Memoriale della Seconda Resistenza e Memoriale del Leone Alato. Ti racconteremo come la Cecoslovacchia ottenne la sua indipendenza durante la prima guerra mondiale, perché fu uno dei primi paesi occupati da Hitler e cosa accadde ai soldati cecoslovacchi durante la seconda guerra mondiale.
Imparerai il destino degli ebrei cechi, quanti di loro sono riusciti a emigrare e cosa è successo a quelli che non l'hanno fatto.
Qui, accanto al Municipio della Città Vecchia, racconteremo la storia della rivolta di Praga e spiegheremo come la fine della seconda guerra mondiale ha posto le basi per l'ascesa del comunismo in Cecoslovacchia.
Cosa è successo dopo l'inizio del comunismo in Cecoslovacchia? Perché gli eserciti del Patto di Varsavia invasero la Cecoslovacchia nel 1968? E dov'era il luogo dell'auto-immolazione di Jan Palach?
Qui vedrai la testa rotante di Kafka, parleremo di arte durante il comunismo.

My family of four—two adults and two teen boys—had a fabulous tour with Kamil for WWII and Communism, and an equally wonderful tour with Dita of the castle area. All four of us were captivated, despite our vastly different knowledge of Prague and its history going in. 10/10, I would have taken every one of their tours if time allowed.
