La strada ci condurrà inizialmente alle Grotte di Postumia, dove ammireremo una delle grotte carsiche più apprezzate al mondo. Durante il viaggio sul treno delle caverne tutti rimarranno affascinati dalla potenza della grotta e dai suoi fenomeni carsici. Poi continueremo il nostro viaggio e raggiungeremo l'unico e più grande castello rupestre del mondo: il Castello di Predjama, che da 800 anni domina arroccato sulla roccia. Dopo aver esplorato il castello e la grotta, la nostra prossima destinazione è Pirano, acclamato come uno dei luoghi più belli del Mediterraneo, spesso definito il gioiello della regione. In questa affascinante cittadina balneare, rimarremo meravigliati dalle strade strette e dall'architettura caratteristica. Una piacevole passeggiata intorno alla piazza principale, Piazza Tartini, ci darà l'opportunità di apprezzare Pirano, racchiusa dalle antiche mura della città e affacciata sul mare.

Un viaggio nella grotta di 2 milioni di anni fa con interni spettacolari. Le Grotte di Postumia sono una grotta impressionante con riconoscibilità globale che ha già raggiunto 38 milioni di visitatori in 200 anni da quando è stata aperta al pubblico. Una meraviglia è accaduta quando il fiume Pivka si è infilato nel mondo sotterraneo e ha creato prima una grotta e poi un interno mozzafiato con una fantastica rete di tunnel, gallerie, sale e passaggi. Un pittoresco fenomeno carsico ha creato anche creazioni naturali uniche come stalattiti, stalagmiti, cortine, cascate pietrificate e perle di grotta. Una delle infinite meraviglie della grotta è anche il cosiddetto "pesce umano" o "proteus" - un animale cieco particolarmente noto per i suoi adattamenti a una vita di completa oscurità nel suo habitat sotterraneo.
Un magnifico castello di fama mondiale che provoca una fantasia e sentimenti misteriosi. Il castello di Predjama, uno dei più pittoreschi castelli rinascimentali del XVI secolo, è costruito su una scogliera alta 123 metri e ha una connessione con un misterioso sistema di grotte sotto il castello. Il castello drammatico, inespugnabile, maestoso e misterioso è anche scritto nel Guinness dei primati come il più grande castello di grotte del mondo. L'interno del castello è oggi trasformato in un interessante museo dove è possibile vedere gli oggetti che sono stati trovati nel castello: calice, tre calici, tazza con coperchio, tazza, tazza mulino a vento, saliera e due candelabri.
La pittoresca cittadina dell'Adriatico, etichettata come »il tesoro del Mediterraneo«. Pirano, una città eccezionale e una delle più autentiche circondate dal mare, è un monumento storico e culturale. La città ha uno spirito tipicamente mediterraneo con le sue strade strette e le case strettamente costruite. La "città dei sogni" possiede le mura della città vecchia (dall'alto con una vista mozzafiato), la piazza principale (con la statua del famoso Giuseppe Tartini, che era un compositore, violinista e nacque in questa città), la pittoresca chiesa parrocchiale di San Giorgio e altre attrazioni. Uniamoci alla gente del posto e sediamoci in riva al mare, chiacchieramo e ascoltiamo i suoni del mare.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, they switched my full day tour to half day afternoon tour (only the cave and castle but with tickets covered). Things still worked out. Appreciated Matt the tour guide's enthusiasm and knowledge, also the little thoughtful surprise at the end of our cave tour. The cave is a must-see!
Nate was an amazing guide who really knew his stuff, and he made everyone feel welcome and included, even visitors with disabilities. The tour to Postojna Caves was truly incredible, and hearing the stories along the way made the whole experience even better. He also introduced us to some local liquor and pointed us toward a few great spots nearby, which we really appreciated. What stood out most was how comfortable he made everyone feel. He created a genuinely warm, welcoming atmosphere where people could interact with each other and ask questions freely, without ever feeling awkward. Highly recommend this tour! The only improvement I'd suggest is having the location tickets prepaid and bundled into the main price.
DJ was amazing! The castle/cave fee wasn’t too bad, especially since it was high season (we are students which helped). The whole day was carefully planned and DJ kept us well informed and entertained. There was only 6 of us in the group which made it more enjoyable and felt more personable. We would highly recommend for anyone wanting a day out exploring, without having to do your own travel arrangements! Thanks again DJ :))
We had a wonderful experience! All the destinations on this trip are a must-see and we had enough time to explore everything. Our guide Matic was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us great food recommendations!
Had a brilliant time on this tour on my last day in Ljubljana. I wanted to see all 3 places (coast, castle, cave) and this tour was an easy way to do it all in one day. Piran was a highlight, a beautiful town and a lovely lunch. DJ was a great driver and gave us some of the history while on our way to the 3 stops. Thank you.

Nate is an exceptional tour guide; good call adjusting the schedule of the tour because of the warm weather. Very knowledgeable and attentive. Piran is a a pretty little coastline town, had just enough time wandering around it. The caves are amazing, it gets a bit cold inside though, would recommend to bring some jacket just in case. Didn't went inside the castle, just enjoyed the view outside the castle while having lunch. The blueberry liquor at the end of the tour was good. ;) Would recommend this day tour.
We had a great day visiting Piran, caves and castle with Slovenian Wander. It was very well organised and they kept in touch with us by WhatsApp before the trip giving us all the info we needed for pick-up etc. Our guide Nate was fantastic and gave us lots of information. It was a small group tour (8 people on ours) which made it more enjoyable. Would highly recommend.
Highly recommended day trip. Our guide DJ was extremely knowledgeable with the sights visited as well as Slovenian history. We visited Skocjan caves rather than Postonjan and it was amazing. Predjama castle must be seen to be believed.
What an awesome line up. Three great things in one fun filled day.
