Se la vostra nave da crociera arriva dopo le 09:00 il tour inizierà solo dopo l’arrivo della nave e i passeggeri sono autorizzati a sbarcare e presentarsi alla Guida.

In questo tour lungo la costa occidentale dell'isola di S. Miguel, ti portiamo a visitare il luogo più iconico delle Azzorre, il cratere vulcanico di Sete Cidades e i suoi laghi verdi e blu. Prima di arrivarci, passiamo dal Pico do Carvão, dove possiamo godere di una splendida vista sulla parte centrale dell'isola e allo stesso tempo sulla costa nord e sud, con le sue montagne di Fogo e Vara sullo sfondo. Mentre saliamo, arriviamo a Vista do Rei, come è stato chiamato dalla visita di El-Rey D Carlos I, dove possiamo apprezzare la bellezza unica di questo vulcano dormiente. Andando verso il suo interno, una breve sosta in un'altra Laguna, quella di Santiago, la più profonda e nascosta, fino a raggiungere il ponte che separa il Verde e il Blu di questa laguna. Nella parrocchia, semplice e bella, il tempo di camminare sul lato della laguna, visitare la chiesa di S Nicolau, o semplicemente prendere un caffè con la gente del posto.
Lasciando questi paradisi, torneremo a Ponta Delgada, in tempo per visitare le serre di produzione dell'ananas, dal sapore unico al mondo, e goderci una degustazione di frutta mentre impariamo la storia della sua produzione. Finiamo il nostro tour di ritorno a Ponta Delgada

Great tour and the guide was very knowledgable. Stopped for great photos! I highly recommend if your on a cruise ship to see a snippet of the island on a short stop

Wonderful tour, but we were disappointed that it was advertised as a small group tour in van or mini bus and there were 34 people on the door in a full-size bus

Mario was wonderful. At our first stop, I started feeling very nauseous and asked if he had a barf bag because I was getting sick. From that moment on, he was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating. He moved me to the front of the bus so I would be more comfortable and went out of his way to help me for the rest of the trip. He truly saved me from what could have been a horrible experience. I’m very grateful for his kindness and highly recommend this tour.

It was a bus tour of the sete ciudad lakes and a pineapple growing facility with a very knowledgeable young man Mario He was our driver and our guide. While driving he imparted a wealth of knowledge about his home island with most importantly a great sense of humor 🙂

Mario, our tour guide, was outstanding. He was very thorough and interesting in describing the island and the things we were going to see. He told us that he had gotten feedback from previous customers that he talked too much. I assured him that no, it was perfect. Would definitely use them again - especially when there is adequate time after the tour to return to the cruise ship. Much less expensive than the excursion offered by the cruiseline.

When we arrived to the island the it was raining but thankfully the weather cleared up and it was a beautiful day. The terminal where the tour met the cruise ship was a little chaotic but we found our driver Tim. The coach was comfortable and Tim gave us great information the island and the history of the Azores. A couple of great picture stops opportunity to grab a bite to eat and pick up some souvenirs. The pineapple farm was also informative and a great addition to the 1/2 day tour. Tim dropped us at the town square near the cruise terminal where more shopping lunch opportunities were available. Well worth the money
