Esplora il Vesuvio, il vulcano gigante che domina il Golfo di Napoli. Guidate per 3000 piedi attraverso il vecchio cratere e poi fate l'ultima escursione di 25 minuti fino alla cima, zigzagando lungo un sentiero di ghiaia vulcanica. Una volta in vetta, sbircia nel cratere del Vesuvio profondo 700 piedi e largo 2000 piedi - sia il distruttore che il custode di Pompei ed Ercolano - e goditi una vista impareggiabile della Penisola di Sorrento e delle isole Capri, Ischia e Procida
Pompei è il sito archeologico più suggestivo della Penisola Italiana e uno dei più visitati. Wow, incredible experience! Our driver Alfonso knows everything about everything, especially food! All questions answered, we were entertained. The hike up the mountain was tremendous, I really enjoyed seeing the crater and views and hiking partway around the crater. There are a few geocaches up there too! Then Pompeii was much more than I thought it would be, and I had high expectations. Our guide Dario shows clear passion for Pompeii and its history. Again, all questions answered. I wish we had more time in Pompeii, I will definitely have to come back for a week sometime. Finally, we had a good multi-course Italian lunch including wonderful cheese, tomatoes, pizza, and of course lemon cake and limoncello. This tour was definitely worth the cost.
We had a wonderful time on our private tour to Vesuvius and Pompeii. Our guides, Alfonso and Dario, were wonderful. They were really welcoming, fun, and super informative. Having a private tour with Mondo Guide made everything easy, and we learned so much more than we would have on our own. Additionally, Afonso took us to a wonderful, delicious, and fun restaurant. We even learned how to make a pizza! I highly recommend this tour.

We did a full day tour with driver Fabio, from Sorrento to Pompeii to Vesuvius to Naples. Would do it again tomorrow if we could! The experience was fantastic and one of our favorite things about our trip to Italy. The car was spacious for me plus three males over 6’ tall, and very clean and good air conditioning on a hot day. Fabio was friendly and fun and his English was great too. He made sure we had an easy time and catered to us. We didn’t have to worry about our luggage or getting ourselves from place to place. Peace of mind and so much fun. When we were at Pompeii, our tour guide was Manuela. Her passion was contagious- she has been doing tours for longer than my teenagers have been alive and it shows. She is so knowledgeable. And she fun. Highly recommend!!

We booked our trip through Mondoguide and it couldn't have been better! Our Pompeii guide, Barbara, was wonderful! She was able to capture the feel of how Pompeii might have been back in 79AD through a wealth of knowledge and an uncanny ability to convey that to our group. Our driver, Nello, was amazing at dodging his way through Naples traffic and recommended an amazing restaurant on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius for lunch. All in all it was a great day, all perfectly coordinated by our contact at Mondoguide Federica! If you're going to the Naples area these are the folks to contact for touring and transportation!

We had a private tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum with driver Antonio and the 2 guides, Patrizia and Tiziana. The driver was excellent and the guides were knowledgeable and fun to spend the time with. All were very professional and on time for our visits. We learned so much and will always remember this trip.
