We had an outstanding experience with our private driver, Stefano. He picked us up right on time at our hotel, drove us to Pompeii, and then safely transported us to Positano. From start to finish, he was professional, friendly, and made the entire day enjoyable. His knowledge of the area was impressive, and he shared fascinating insights and recommendations along the way that really enhanced our trip. Beyond that, he was a fantastic conversationalist, making the drive feel effortless and enjoyable. His vehicle was clean and comfortable, and we always felt safe on the road. Our driver Alex Paolini was super friendly and a great companion for the day! Francesca was a lovely guide through Pompeii which was fascinating. Positano was not our favorite because it was crowded and too touristy. But the experience as a whole was a fun day!

Very satisfied. We book months in advance, and communication was good. We were reminded that we needed to book apart if we wanted a tour in Pompeii, rather than wandering on our own. Our driver Peter was knowledgeable, polite and friendly, which we wanted for a private tour. He answer promptly our calls and was on time to pick us form the hotel. Francesca was our guide in Pompeii and helped navigate that tremendous area with the hot weather avoiding crowds when possible. After about 2 hrs, there was more but we felt satisfied of what we could see without much fatigue. Peter promptly picked us up and went to Sorrento, from the choices, we picked it because of the famous lemons. We had a good time and some shopping. We were back to our hotel at 7pm.

We spent the day with Alex Paolini traveling to Pompeii and Sorrento, and couldn’t have had a better experience. He communicated with us in advance to set up timing, showed up early and brought breakfast since we started early, and even provided a gluten free breakfast for our daughter! The van was super clean and he thought of everything all the way down to charges for phones. His expertise was invaluable getting us to and from the locations we visited, and he was very flexible with our timing and plans. I highly recommend Alex for anyone’s tour.

Alex Paolini was our driver for our trip from Rome to Pompeii and Sorrento. It was door-to-door service and Alex was very friendly - he even had pastries for breakfast for our whole family - including a gluten free option for our daughter. His van had wifi and charging outlets, was cool and clean. He also provided waters for us and was pleasant to chat with along the way.

While on an Italy family trip, a bucket list visit for our daughter was Pompeii. We didn’t have time to afford a stay in Naples which is the typical launching point, but we were excited to find this day trip option from Rome. We added on the optional guided tour of Pompeii, and Francesca was amazing! She helped us avoid the crowds and lines, and we got to experience the amazing history of the site. Our driver, Alex Paoloni, was extremely communicative prior to the trip and during and took care of us in every way including a little breakfast to hold us over to lunch. Positano was even more beautiful in person, and we were very thankful to only be spending a little time there give the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see both Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast from Rome without the large tour groups and flexibility to customize your day.

Alex Paolini was a great driver. He recommended we leave slightly earlier to beat traffic and provided us with breakfast pastries for the ride. The van was very clean and equipped with chargers and WiFi. Would recommend him!
