You had been in contact for several days with Caterina, an employee of our travel agency, through our official company WhatsApp number. Caterina assisted you before the tour, confirmed the meeting point, confirmed the departure time, and sent you the voucher for your Pompeii experience. On the morning of the tour, the person who came to meet you and accompany you to Pompeii was exactly Caterina, the same person you had been speaking with in the previous days, together with our driver. Therefore, it is not correct to describe them as unknown people with no connection to our company. Your booking was for “Pompeii Skip the Line – 2h All Inclusive Guided Tour from Salerno”, which included transportation from Salerno to Pompeii, skip-the-line entrance tickets, and a 2-hour guided tour in English inside Pompeii with a licensed guide. The licensed English-speaking guide was waiting for you at Pompeii, not at the cruise port, because Caterina and the driver were responsible only for the transfer and assistance to the meeting point. The service was correctly organized: our staff was present, the vehicle was ready, the tickets had already been purchased, and the licensed guide had already been reserved for you. After meeting our staff, you voluntarily decided not to proceed with the tour. We understand that you may have expected a different type of vehicle or a different arrangement, but this was not what was booked or advertised. The product did not include a luxury minivan, a hostess, or a private English-speaking guide during the transfer. For this reason, it is unfair to present the situation as unsafe or unprofessional. You were welcomed by our agency staff, including the same person who had assisted you before the tour, and the service was ready to be provided exactly as booked. Since the service was refused by you on the day of the tour, after all arrangements had already been made and paid for, we could not issue a full refund. We work every day with seriousness and responsibility, and we are disappointed to see a review that creates fear and mistrust by omitting important facts about the organization and the communication that took place before the tour.
