Piazza dei Cavalieri è la seconda piazza più famosa di Pisa, dopo Piazza dei Miracoli. Nell'antichità era un centro del potere civile della città, in contrasto con il potere della Chiesa.

Piazza dei Miracoli rappresenta un importante punto di riferimento dell'arte medievale europea ed è uno dei più bei complessi architettonici del mondo. Considerata sacra dalla Chiesa cattolica, la piazza è dominata da quattro grandi edifici religiosi: il Duomo di Pisa, il Battistero di San Giovanni, la Torre pendente e il Cimitero monumentale. Con i suoi ampi prati erbosi divisi da passeggiate lastricate, Piazza dei Miracoli è anche sede dello Spedale Nuovo di Santo Spirito, che ospita il Museo delle Sinopie e il Museo dell'Opera del Duomo.

L’idea del murale a Pisa è nata durante un incontro tra un giovane studente pisano e l’artista per le strade di New York. Sono 30 le figure che occupano 180 metri quadrati della parete sud della chiesa di Sant’Antonio.

The bike tour is very well suited to get brief insights into the city. Famous and lesser-known sights are covered, and you get to know the facets of the city along the way. The booked time is also more than enough to linger at the sights and take photos in peace. Highly recommended.

We had to install two apps on the cell phones, one for the route and the other for the audio descriptions, the routes and stopping points did not match.

We rented two bikes with smile and ride. It was a very good experience and a good thing that we did because we were able to travel a greater distance than if we were walking because Pisa Central was very hot. The folks at smiling and ride were helpful and easy to work with.

Take your son on a self-guided tour, run long distances, and measure the world on your feet the other day. He was in Pisa early this morning and his son was a little tired. After departure, there was a rental bike on the right, electric manual, the clerk was friendly, no deposit, a driver's license or passport, children's helmet free, 4 hours 14 euros, 16 euros a day, the car was light, we like wings, galloping through the streets of Pisa. The staff recommended izitravel to us, there are recommended route navigation, and the attraction voice introduction, free feet, praise! Recommended.

I hired a carbon road bike from Smile & Ride in Pisa for 6 days in July. The bike was in excellent condition, well maintained and worked perfectly throughout my 300 mile trip around Tuscany. Elena and Mario were both professional, most helpful and kind, they even set my bike up with a slightly lower gearing rear cassette as requested prior to my arrival. Many thanks for helping to make my trip around Tuscany so enjoyable and successful, your efforts are very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend Smile & Ride!
