La piazza del Duomo è il centro artistico e turistico più importante di Pisa. Annoverata fra i Patrimoni dell'Umanità dall'UNESCO dal 1987,
La torre di Pisa è il campanile della cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta, nella celeberrima piazza del Duomo di cui è il monumento più famoso per via della caratteristica pendenza, simbolo di Pisa e fra i simboli iconici d'Italia. Si tratta di un campanile a sé stante alto 57 metri
Il battistero di San Giovanni è uno dei monumenti della piazza dei Miracoli, a Pisa; s'innalza di fronte alla facciata occidentale della cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta, a sud del camposanto monumentale.
Il Campo Santo, noto anche come Camposanto monumentale o Camposanto vecchio, è un cimitero storico monumentale di Pisa, che chiude il lato nord di piazza del Duomo.
In questa zona si trovava l'antico foro romano della città di Pisa. La piazza era il cuore politico della Pisa medievale, luogo di celebrazioni e discussioni: già in epoca longobarda vi risiedeva il gastaldo, il funzionario regale che amministrava la città.

What an astounding hour and a half! Carolina was right on time, checked in about my passions and preferances, and off we went. She took care with my concerns about a bad back, walking slower an sitting some. Carolina is charming, extremely knowledgable, and loves her city. Every moment was packed with fun and interesting facts. She brought the past to life! Even after our time she offered a few suggestions on how to enjoy my time in Pisa. I can' reccomend this tour highly enough!

This private tour with me and my friend should have EASILY been a 5-star review, as our guide was excellent! Unfortunately, she 'apparently' was duped by another couple that claimed they were us so she took them on our tour for and hour while we waited for her to show up (we were, in fact, 10 min early for our appt, so was very surprising she would have accepted 2 others and not ask for identification or proof of purchase). Once we call Viator & a mgr corrected the problem it was great. Also, correspondence with person on the phone AND the manager was very quick & professional. They handled the problem beautifully. Suggest in the future the ask their customers for ID at the meeting site.

The Cathedral was closed which we were not told ahead of time, which was disappointing. Our guide was ok, a bit too enthusiastic and didn’t let us have time to digest the information she was giving us a bit overwhelming.
