I Musei Capitolini sono la collezione pubblica più antica del mondo, con un'impressionante collezione di tutto, dalle statue antiche ai dipinti rinascimentali. Papa Sisto IV donò alla città di Roma i famosi bronzi lateranensi. Questo dono comprendeva la Lupa, lo Spinario, il Camillo, la colossale testa di Costantino con la sua mano e il Globo. Da allora, le sculture antiche sono state raccolte sul Campidoglio Inizieremo il nostro viaggio in questo luogo straordinario da Palazzo Nuovo, dove potrai ammirare molte famose sculture, tra cui il Galata morente, la Venere Capitolina, i due Centauri e il Fauno danzante, ma anche rilievi, mosaici, bronzi dall'età ellenistica a quella periodo romano e i meravigliosi busti dei regnanti. After a bit of trouble finding the tour guide, tour went wonderfully. Knowledgeable, helpful and very personable guide. Museum is awe inspiring and well worth it!

Guide was great, a little tough to understand, but our issue was limited hours during New Years Eve, not her fault but felt rushed and not the best tour.
