Evitare il grande autobus (autobus) sulla strada tortuosa! Unisciti a un piccolo gruppo (massimo 7) in minivan! La nostra prima destinazione è la Fortezza di Poenari, un tempo utilizzata come castello per Vlad l'Impalatore, la figura storica che ha ispirato la leggenda di Dracula. Lo ammireremo dall’esterno e conosceremo la sua affascinante storia. Successivamente, visiteremo l'imponente diga di Vidraru, una notevole impresa di ingegneria degli anni '60 che trattiene le acque scintillanti del lago Vidraru. Saliamo poi nel Parco Nazionale dei Monti Făgăraș, dove la bellezza della natura prende vita. Successivamente si trova il lago Balea, il luogo di vista sulla strada tortuosa, aperta solo da giugno a ottobre, situato a oltre 2.000 metri di altitudine. Qui, potrete ammirare la famosa strada tortuosa Top Gear. Restiamo qui per 90 minuti. Sulla via del ritorno ci fermeremo alla cascata di Capra, perfetta per respirare l'aria fresca di montagna.

La fortezza di Poenari è una cittadella storica situata in Romania, arroccata in cima a una ripida scogliera nei Carpazi. Costruito nel XIII secolo e successivamente potenziato da Vlad l'Impalatore, serviva come roccaforte strategica e fortezza difensiva. Conosciuta per i suoi panorami spettacolari e l'associazione con la leggenda Dracula, la fortezza è accessibile tramite un'impegnativa salita di oltre 1.400 gradini, che offre ai visitatori uno sguardo sulla storia medievale e sul folklore. Vediamo la fortezza dall'esterno.
La diga e il lago di Vidraru, situata sui monti Făgăraș in Romania, è una splendida meraviglia idro-ingegneristica completata nel 1966. La diga ad arco curvo, alta 166 metri, crea il lago Vidraru, un bacino idrico sereno circondato da foreste lussureggianti e cime spettacolari. Meta popolare per i turisti, offre panorami mozzafiato, canottaggio e funge da porta d'accesso alla Strada Transfăgărășan.
La Transfăgărășan Highway, spesso chiamata una delle strade più panoramiche del mondo, si snoda attraverso i monti Făgăraș della Romania nei Carpazi. Costruito negli anni '70, questo drammatico percorso presenta tornanti netti, curve ampie e viste mozzafiato su cime aspre, valli e cascate. Preferito per i viaggi su strada, collega la Transilvania alla Valacchia e offre lungo la strada punti di riferimento iconici come il lago Balea e la fortezza di Poenari.
La cascata di Capra, situata in Romania vicino all'autostrada Transfăgărășan, è una spettacolare attrazione naturale. Cascata da un'altezza di oltre 40 metri, questa cascata alpina è alimentata da acque glaciali e circondata da un verde lussureggiante e da paesaggi montani frastagliati. Facilmente raggiungibile durante i mesi estivi, offre ai visitatori una sosta rinfrescante con viste mozzafiato e il suono rilassante dell'acqua che scorre.
Il punto di vista sulla strada tortuosa è aperto solo da giugno a ottobre.

- Per favore non date da mangiare agli orsi! Sappiamo che sono bellissimi e che è allettante condividere il cibo con loro, ma nutrire gli orsi in realtà li ferisce. Quando gli orsi si abituano al cibo umano, smettono di nutrirsi naturalmente, perdono la paura degli esseri umani e spesso devono essere trasferiti o abbattuti per motivi di sicurezza. Inoltre, tieni presente che nutrire la fauna selvatica è rigorosamente illegale e comporta multe molto elevate. Grazie per averci aiutato a tenere al sicuro sia i nostri visitatori che i nostri orsi!

It’s a great day trip for a reasonable price lovely views and our driver/ guide Pedro was very good with the driving and getting us there and the knowledge of all the attractions on the way I had a great time and it was my second time doing it
The tour company planned out the logistics accordingly to ensure a well timed adventure. The driver/guide Pedro was prompt and on time. He did a great job telling us about România history and sights and just very friendly and courteous. He gave us some good tips as we got to each sight and ensured we were comfortable and got the most from the experience. Also, a very good driver. Thanks for the nice smooth and fun drive through “the best driving road in the world.” Not to mention we got to see wild bears! I would recommend this tour to anyone seeking some adventure with some incredibly great visual sights. If you love lucious mountains with colorful flowers, rivers, waterfalls, clear lakes and love driving winding roads you will love this! Also, impressive architecture and engineering of dams and a chance to see bears, sheep, donkeys and other wildlife. Overall a wonderful tour and tour company!
Really great day out with Bogan. He was very informative and pleasant to be with. His English was great which made it so enjoyable. And a great day was topped off by seeing 2 lots of bears on the way back. Overall a very enjoyable day and would highly recommend it.
I hardly know where to start. One thing at a time: I had booked the tour and was informed very promptly by the company that I was the only customer for the day, which is why the tour could not take place. However, we were quickly able to agree that I would pay a very reasonable surcharge and thus had a private tour at a very fair price. Regarding the tour itself: The guide, Sebastian, picked me up punctually directly at my apartment in his very comfortable car. The tour went as described and was full of highlights. We saw many bears, and the other destinations were also exciting to fantastic. And Sebastian entertained me with so much information and expertise that the long day, which also requires a lot of time in the car, really never became boring. Quite the opposite. And one more word about Sebastian: Beyond the tour, he gave me a contact for a trip to the Danube Delta and selflessly helped with the organization even a few days after our tour. That day was also fantastic, but that does not belong here. But it shows what a great guide he is. Thank you! In any case, I recommend this tour without reservation, even in comparison to the cheaper tours of other companies in large tour buses.
I would give this experience 6/5 stars if I could. Everything was above and beyond my expectations. Our guide Sebastian is a great driver with a lot of interesting insights about many subjects surrounding Romania and a great sense of humor. The locations selected for the trip were excellent and I felt like I was getting a great bang for my buck at all times
This is a must do trip when in Romania! The Transfagarasan highway is epic, George our tour guide was excellent. We saw 12 bears! Made plenty of bathroom stops . Lunch at Lake Balea was very nice . Great day !
My wife & I did this tour yesterday with George as our driver and guide. There were 5 of us on the tour so a more personal experience. The minivan we were in was very comfortable. George was an excellent driver and knowledgeable guide. We managed to see a total of 8 bears including a mama bear with 2 cubs. George always stopped when we saw them so we could take videos & pictures. A couple of bears were actually walking in the middle of the road as we approached & they came right up to us. We had plenty of stops along the way and take in the amazing views. The view from the top of the mountain at Balea lake to the Transfagarasan road below was a sight to behold. We had a really fantastic day and we were so glad we did this tour.
George did a great job, he was very informative and gave us plenty of free time over the lunch hour to eat and explore the shops in the area. We very much enjoyed the tour and saw many bears.
The trip was very nice, the route was charming and the guide was excellent. Sebastian explained everything to us very patiently and was very professional.
