Il Royal Treasury e la villa di Napoleone II si trovano a sud della Royal Throne Hall.
Sulla via del ritorno dal tempio Wat Phnom (Pagoda), godremo della vista del Mekong o del fiume Mekong, un fiume transfrontaliero nell'Asia orientale e nel sud-est asiatico. È il decimo fiume più lungo del mondo e il sesto più lungo in Asia. [2] La sua lunghezza stimata è di 4,909 km (3.050 mi), [2] e drena un'area di 795.000 km2 (307.000 sq mi), scaricando 475 km3 (114 cu mi) di acqua all'anno. Il Norodom Sihanouk Memorial è un monumento che commemora l'ex re Norodom Sihanouk situato a Phnom Penh, in Cambogia. La statua in bronzo è alta 4,5 metri ed è ospitata sotto uno stupa alto 27 metri nel parco a est del Monumento all'Indipendenza.
Una torre in stile angkoriano, il luogo inimitabile di tutta la città, situato nel cuore della capitale. Fu costruito nel 1958 in occasione dell'indipendenza cambogiana di Sybilles, dopo aver riconquistato l'indipendenza dal protettorato francese il 9 novembre 1953.
Nel 1975, la scuola superiore di Tuol Svay Prey fu rilevata dalle forze di sicurezza di Pol Pot e trasformata in una prigione nota come Security Prison 21 (S-21). Ben presto divenne il più grande centro di detenzione e tortura del paese. Oltre 17.000 persone detenute all'S-21 furono portate nel campo di sterminio di Choeung Ek per essere giustiziate; i detenuti che sono morti durante le torture sono stati sepolti in fosse comuni nel terreno del carcere. Wat Preah Keo Morakot (Pagoda d'argento) si trova nella parte meridionale del complesso del Palazzo Reale. La pagoda era precedentemente conosciuta come Wat Uborsoth Rotannaram perché era il luogo in cui il Re adorava, pregava e praticava ogni giorno buddista della Sila.
Il mercato centrale è un punto di riferimento in stile Art Déco di Phnom Penh, la capitale della Cambogia. I had an amazing day seeing the sights of Phnom Penh with my guide Maroth. He is very knowledgeable and gave me some good insights into Cambodian history and the significance of the places we visited. Lunch, which was included in the tour, was a preset menu and was delicious at a waterfront restaurant. We even saw toucans in flight at Wat Phnom! We ended the tour at the Central Market and I found some great bargains. All in all, a memorable day! Highly recommend this tour and Maroth as your guide.

A full-day tour in Phnom Penh with car, driver and guide which provided a great experience for us. With not a lot of time to spend in the Cambodian capital, this was the ideal way to make the most of it. Our guide was excellent. A bonus for us, as Kat is not available during the working week and we took the tour on a Sunday. A bonus because Kat is both professionally qualified not just as a guide but also in areas concerned with tourism in Cambodia. All the places described in the itinerary were well accommodated, plus we were able to flex arrangements to be able to and see things that we specifically wanted to. We recommend this tour and the service provided by the tour company.

I lucked out and ended up getting a private tour for the day, even though I expected a group! So easy with hotel pickup and drop off, and my guide and driver were phenomenal. Courteous, safe driver and sweet and knowledgeable guide. She never made me feel too rushed and even allowed me to shop at the market by myself, so no pressure there to buy or not buy. She was also a certified guide and gave me tremendous insight into the Royal Palace. Another friend of mine went to the palace on her own and when we compared notes at dinner, I had learned so much more from my guide that my friend was jealous and said she wished she'd booked this tour too; she'd just walked through without any context. WELL worth the cost and you'll have an incredible experience.

We had a private driver and tour guide for the day. Went to all the places as per the advert and explained everything. The Palace as beautiful the killing fields was very upsetting and something that I had never heard of before today. Food at the restaurant was brilliant as well

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. You get a real feel for the history of the city. The Palace is very impressive and I would recommend visiting the museum as well.
