Più che un semplice circo, gli artisti Phare usano il teatro, la musica, la danza e le arti circensi moderne per raccontare storie cambogiane in modo univoco; storico, popolare e moderno. I giovani artisti circensi ti stupiranno con la loro energia, emozione, entusiasmo e talento. L'associazione è stata fondata nel 1994 da 9 giovani che tornano a casa da un campo profughi dopo il regime dei Khmer rossi. In quel periodo furono molto aiutati da un insegnante di arte che utilizzava lezioni di disegno come terapia e volevano condividere questa nuova abilità tra i giovani poveri, socialmente svantaggiati e in difficoltà di Battambang. Hanno fondato una scuola d'arte e una scuola pubblica seguita per offrire istruzione gratuita ai giovani per uccidere e usare l'abilità per guadagnare per il loro futuro. L'esibizione è di circa 1 ora e sarà in grado di apprendere la cultura e il carattere di ogni spettacolo e la confusione dello scherzo secondo la storia del giorno. Fine dell'esibizione con gioia

Fabulous feel good show - acrobatics, juggling, music - with an easy to follow story. Run by a social enterprise supporting education and training in the arts. Grab a quick snack & drink before the show and B seats are fine. The theater is cooled and hand fans provided so it’s a good stop after a day in the heat. Show goes for about a one hour.
We visited the Young Acrobats Circus last night and were very impressed by this project and the performance of the troupe. We can recommend this event!
Incredibly good artists and a proper Shrkus atmosphere. Before the performance, there were many opportunities to eat within the area.
The performance is not highly skillful, but it is well choreographed, combines traditional Cambodian culture and audience helped to create good atmosphere, all in all worth a visit, recommend buying section B seats.
The show gradually increases in intensity with a troupe made up of real actors/acrobats. Avoid the first price seats as you will not properly enjoy the show. The photo with the troop is worth it. I recommend
Most amazing talent and energy. Small enough venue that all seats good. Performers incredibly good and personable. Dance and acrobatics with live gorgeous music. Good food available. Absolutely would go again. A must if you are in Siem Reap!

My husband and I attended the circus on a Wednesday night, and the house was packed. We chose B level seats and were able to get there early to get seats in the middle right behind the end of A group - perfect. We could see everything very clearly. If you get there early, you have a chance to browse through the gift shop, and enjoy the purchase of food or drink. Around 7 p.m., there is a short performance of the battle of Angkor Wat by a childrens group. The doors to the circus open at 7:30 and the audience is allowed in to be seated. The perforance, which lasts for one hour, was a combination of story telling, acrobatics, artistry, and comedy, and was all thoroughly enjoyable. Note: We took a tuk tuk from our hotel to the performance, and he even waited for us, as part of the price.
