Verrà a prenderti dal tuo hotel a Dahab tramite un moderno autobus con aria condizionata per il porto di Taba, prendendo un traghetto per il porto di Aqaba, quindi ti verrà a prendere dal porto di Aqaba vicino alla porta di uscita della crociera. Successivamente, verrai trasferito da un veicolo con aria condizionata per circa 1 ora e mezza nella città rosata di Petra, una tappa obbligata in Medio Oriente. All'arrivo al Centro Visitatori, partenza a cavallo oa piedi verso il Siq, una stretta gola, e proseguimento verso il bellissimo Tesoro. Da lì percorrerai la Via delle Facciate, le Tombe Reali e Qasr Al Bent. Dopo il tour di un giorno, tornerai dal porto di Aqaba al porto di Taba, quindi verrai trasferito al tuo hotel a Dahab

This experience was truly unique, it covers everything from visa entry to transportation plus you get a guide so you really don’t need to think about anything except enjoying what Petra has to offer. A warning that it is an extremely long day with lots of travel on multiple busses and boats (so have snacks and water) but so worth it.
Although you'll spend nearly 16 hours in vans, buses and ferries, you'll find Petra is well worth it. It was also nice that the guide gave us a tour of Aqaba at the end.
Though the journey is quite long, seeing Petra is definitely worth it. The tour guide explained very well on the history; however, it would be better to give us more free time to explore by ourselves.
This was a 20 hour trip for us from Dahab, Egypt. We traveled by buses and a boat. I was impressed that this tour was very well organized and the guides took very good care of us. At Petra there was a lot of walking in the hot sun. I feel it was all worth doing to see amazing Petra.
It was Petra! My dream came true finally. And with this tour, I really enjoyed the day. Highly recommend
Positives: - Petra is stunning and well worth a visit - Tour guide was friendly and allowed you to go on your own. I would recommend reading about Petra and the sites before and walking on your own to avoid large crowds. Negatives: - Tour took 21 hours from Dahab. Left at 3am and arrived back at the hotel at 12am - This is mainly due to the Egyptian check-points, slow boarder agents and too long of stops. Overall Egypt is not very organized and when you have 4-8 buses arriving at the boarder at the same time, the time really adds up. We probably had about 3-4 hours waiting for everyone to go through customs there and back. - Drivers to and from the buses were late. To make up for time, they drove 140-150km/h. There were no seatbelts as well, so be prepared for a fast trip to and from the larger buses that actually drive you to the ferry. Overall, this is such a long day and to me personally not worth it. Petra is so beautiful it is worth an overnight trip. I wish we had more time and you could easily spend 2 days there. You get 3 hours in Petra and 12-18 hours of travel, so you can determine if that is a good pay off for you on your trip. Here is a breakdown of the day for people who are interested:
Petra is stunning. Very long day 245am to 9pm. Car/ferry/ bus. About 3 hours in Petra. We'll worth it!
Starting at 2:50am was a bit hard but arriving 9:30 pm earlier than expected. Ferry from Taba to Akaba, Jordan was comfortable and fresh. Restaurant for lunch was good. Full-day tour saved my time.

I booked the 1-day trip with Dahab Safari Day Tours. Amed was very helpful with booking this trip and the organization was great. The guide in Petra spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable, everything was on time and they food was delicious. The only point that was so so was the guide in Egypt that spoke little English and mostly Russian.
