Negli ultimi anni Lima è stata considerata una delle migliori capitali mondiali del cibo. Vieni con noi e scopri di più visitando i mercati locali e interagendo con la sua gente amichevole. Verremo a prendervi dal vostro alloggio o hotel e ci dirigeremo al mercato della pesca di Chorrillos, dove impareremo il lavoro dei pescatori e il mare. Poi, visiteremo due mercati a Surquillo, dove assaggeremo il menu giornaliero, tra cui ceviche, frutta e altro ancora! Frutta esotica, tapas, piatti tipici, bevande e altro sono inclusi. Itinerario
Chorrillos “Il principale mercato del pesce locale di Lima”. Questo è il primo posto che visitiamo dove imparerai a conoscere una delle principali economie del Perù (pesca). Inoltre, la tua guida locale ti mostrerà i diversi strumenti ed esche utilizzate dalla gente del posto per svolgere quell'importante attività. Vedrai il mare peruviano molto vicino e saprai perché Lima è un deserto.
Il quartiere di Surquillo sta diventando la nuova capitale gastronomica di Lima, e tutto è iniziato con il mercato Surquillo 2, grazie alla sua grande varietà di prodotti freschi e biologici, così come il cibo delizioso nei suoi ristoranti in loco! Qui, proveremo il menu giornaliero e mangeremo come un Limeño locale! Visiteremo le sezioni carne, verdura e frutta, e vedrai la grande varietà di prodotti che questo grande mercato offre! Successivamente, proveremo il piatto più rappresentativo del Perù, il Ceviche. Sarà sicuramente uno dei piatti più freschi che proverete in città. Puoi praticare il tuo spagnolo qui con i miei amici venditori.
Visiteremo il mercato di strada Surquillo 1, dove proveremo frutta locale proveniente da diverse regioni del paese - il deserto, le montagne e la giungla - che si distinguono per il loro sapore intenso e biologico. Proviamo qualche piccolo snack e impariamo a conoscere le loro origini e come funzionano le dinamiche di un mercato a Lima. Great experience! We went to three markets and were able to try fruits, and other Peruvian specialty dishes. Our guide was very knowledgeable about any about Peru/Lima as he did city tours prior to food tours, so he was able to answer any and all of my questions.

This was a nice food tour. The ceviche was the highlight, but we had several dishes and snacks. I also loved the morada. Highly recommend.
Lucas was an amazing guide, and this was a wonderful tour! It was a small group tour which was nice, and I was the only one who didn't speak Spanish but he made sure to translate everything for me, from group conversations to vendor explanations. Seeing the fish market was a unique experience, and I enjoyed learning about and trying the local fruits and food. It felt like I was learning while going grocery shopping which I absolutely loved! This is a tour that I would recommend if you want a unique tour that gives you a quick peek into the daily lives of the local Lima community and you want to experience something beyond going to museums or restaurants. Also, shout out to Ernesto for being a fantastic driver - punctual, safe, and patient!
Luca gave us a wonderful overview of Peruvian food. We started at the fish market, then went to a market where we tasted a number of Peruvian fruits, most of which we had never had. We ended at Market #2, where we shared 4 dishes at one vendor and then had a ceviche master demonstrate making ceviche, which we then enjoyed. Luca picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in Miraflores, so this tour was very convenient. The highlights were the fruit and ceviche.
Very good tour. We had Any, and she did a fantastic job explaining not only the different types of food but also the historical context behind them.
We went to two amazing market, and then the fishing area by the pier! It was such a great experience for our entire family! We had ages 1 to 50 and everyone enjoyed it! Our tour guide, Lucas was really kind. Made us feel really safe and really knowledgeable of the Peruvian food…. We ate at a spot that was featured in Netflix and we had some really good ceviche in our ceviche making course… we tried some delicious fruits at the fruit market! And got to visit the beach with the pier and the fishing market! We had a one year-old, a nine-year-old, and for adults and it was just such a great family experience!
This was a super fun experience! We did the 930 pick up and we were so full by the end of the tour. Everything was delicious and trying new fruits was so fun. Highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic tour inside Peruvian food culture. The guide Lucas was just amazing: he was full of information about both Peruvian history and the Peruvian food culture. I really recommend this experience for a deep step into the mixology of Peruvian food, its recipes and the variety of local ingredients. Thank you Lucas for the great time spent together.
