Giuseppe was amazing!! Extremely knowledgeable, well-versed in history and culture, pointed out some of the architectural and also ethnic diversities of the area. We had a wonderful time with Guiseppe touring Lecce and highly recommend this experience. We had been there for a few days already, but with him guiding us we really got to see and understand the city, and some of its hidden places and obscure treasures. In addition, Guiseppe went out of his way to tailor the trip to our family which included a 1-year-old in a stroller. My guide was very nice and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the cooler temps in the morning. I recommend an early morning start. The city is so lovely and clean! The history is fascinating and the route is walkable.

Giuseppe was AMAZING. One of the best tours we have ever had. His understanding of architecture, culture, art, food and social history was next to none. Taking us inside the main Cathedral in Lecce and to major tourist spots including the fortress, ampitheatre and jewish quarter were brilliant. We enjoyed olive oil, wine and chocolate tasting, saw how local artists created intricate models of Tarantela dancers as well as a few hidden gems. Giuseppe suggested a few cafes and gelatarias which were appreciated. We throughly reccommend a private tour with Guiseppe when in Lecce.
