It didn’t offer anything for me… I was already in Athens for 7 days so I had already walked and seen everything on my own. This is probly a tour for people that are just arriving in Athens on their first day.
Eleni was our guide and was fantastic. You do really get lost in Athens with an insider. We walked and talked and she gave us a lot of interesting history and stories about Athens. Went to places we would never had found on our own. Gave us a different insight into Athens and its inner areas. Enjoyable and highly recommended.
Dionysus was an excellent tour guide and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and current events in Greece

Our guide was quite excellent. He was flexible and knowledgeable and gave us a deeper understanding of the areas walked and of Greek culture and society. Thanks to Dionysus, our guide.
Overall, we enjoyed the experience of visiting a variety of neighborhoods. The street art was particularly engaging. But there were some issues, including pacing (which felt somewhat slow) and communication. I would suggest a refreshment break of some sort as well, instead of the guide simply pointing out some popular spots. I'm not sorry we took this tour, but feel it could be improved in terms of pace and organization.
We had a great guided tour with Dionysis which we would recommend to anyone looking for a good overview of Athen. "Get Lost in Athens with an Insider" is a very good start of a stay in a new city, ie one get an overview of where to find what and what to do. Our guide Dionysis is very nice, knowledgeable, down to earth, very good to explain and easy to understand either we ask about ancient history, how Greek live today or tips on what to do in Athen.
Highly recommend this tour! It’s a great way to see parts of Athens on foot and learn some of the history and culture. Dennis was amazing - very knowledgeable, flexible in changing the itinerary, and took us to a great Greek coffee shop we would not have found on our own. It was a great experience!
Hercules was great! Knowledgeable and personal. He had excellent recommendations for restaurants and really made the experience chill and enjoyable!!!!
Okay tour especially for those interested in Street art. Was nice to have someone walk us around the back roads
