Il tuo autista ti verrà a prendere dal tuo rispettivo hotel per procedere con il tour della città. Visiterai anche la collina di Penang, dove salirai a bordo di una funicolare fino alla sua cima a 833 m sul livello del mare per goderti una spettacolare vista panoramica di Georgetown e della terraferma di Butterworth. I bungalow coloniali si trovano intorno a questa collina a causa degli inglesi che preferiscono stare in un clima più fresco rispetto all'ambiente caldo e umido della città.
Successivamente, visiterai il Tempio di Kek Lok Si. Costruito nel 1891 come un piccolo santuario, da allora si è espanso fino a diventare uno dei templi più maestosi e più grandi del Sud-est asiatico. Dalla sua fondazione nel 1930, la "Pagoda dei Diecimila Buddha" è considerata una delle meraviglie architettoniche più belle di Penang in quanto è in grado di incorporare 3 culture in un'unica struttura: base ottagonale cinese, livello medio tailandese e corona birmana. Una statua in bronzo di Guan Yin - Dea della Misericordia di 30,2 m fu eretta nel 2002 sul punto più alto del tempio. Può essere raggiunto tramite un ascensore inclinato al centro.

We were very disappointed. Wasn’t the tour we were expecting. Was self touring which we could done it way much cheaper than paying $99.00 US dollars. It was very expensive tour in Australian dollars cost us $315.00. It was a mistake decision to book this tour, didn’t enjoy it at all. Also weather was awful as well that made it worse. I don’t know why has a boat picture to confuse people? The communication was very bad too.

This small group tour was the perfect way to spend the day in Penang. The driver/guide picked us up across from the port entrance and we passed several sites as we traveled to Penang Hill. After some explanation of what we would see, we were given free time to ride the funicular to the too to explore on our own. Next we toured Kek Lok Su Temple on our own, again after being given some facts. We prefer to tour in this manner, with time to explore what interests us and away from a group and a chatty guide. We also stopped at a batik shop and still had time to wander Georgetown before the ship departed.

Had a wonderful trip with Kris our driver and tour guide. Highlight was the railway. Super speedy tickets cut right through the very long queues. Also the temples. Kris was very knowledgeable, extremely pleasant and funny! We had a great day. Would highly recommend

The drive/guide was personable, knowledgeable, and spoke good English. The temple and hiking at the top of the lift were the most memorable.
Enjoyed having driver and car and the Penang Hill Funicular railway. However, traffic around Georgetown was very heavy. Also, sorry,. but for us 3 Temples was too many. Would have preferred another attraction to fill the time - Butterflies for instance. Sam was helpful and took us to a local restaurant for lunch which was tremendous value and tasty. Thank you, Sam

We loved every moment of this tour! Aldrin was a wonderful guide who deserves 10 stars. He made sure we saw the sights specific to the tour, plus others of interest that we never would have known about or had time to see. He was knowledgeable, kind, well-prepared and considerate of my husband and me. Penang is a wonderful place with so many beautiful sites. We loved the various temples, Kek Lok Si, the funicular, the old town and murals...I could go on and on. Aldrin went above and beyond for us, and assured we had a great visit to Penang.
