Well, where to start, the beaches have been rejuvenated over the past couple of years. Sand is soft clean and comfortable under foot. Dogtan Beach is a few minutes walk away You are welcome to lie/sit under umbrellas and pay 100 baht which includes a towel and bed/chair Whilst you’re there the staff everywhere will look after you, clean the sand away and move the umbrellas as the sun shifts. Not only that they will offer you drinks and food, virtually anything you want they will get you. For no fee but it is polite to leave a 100 baht tip per visitor Then there are the ladies and gents offering hassle free pedicure and manicures, massages, ice cream donuts small gifts. But they won’t hassle you ( the donut man is the friendliest happiest bloke on earth) Then there are many hotels, bars and restaurants and cafes within walking distance You can do a pub crawl every day and never get through them all in one holiday You can be partying relaxing playing pool singing watching live music and doing what you like to do It a comfortable place to be for you and kids a like Recommendation include tinnies pie shop for breakfast and lunch and cheap Charlie’s for everything food and drink Don’t miss the night food markets And finally Pattaya is a 10 baht bus ride away if you fancy madness at a different level Enjoy yourself and relax If you don’t like it here then maybe you stay home and stick to YouTube visits
