Itinerario

Julia is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to while we walked around the Jewish Quarter. She provided us with a wonderful overview of many historical facts during the tour. The places she took us to were very interesting and we felt that we got an exceptional and memorable picture of the history and lives of Jews in Budapest.
I had an incredible experience with Petra as my tour guide in Budapest. She arrived at my hotel right on time and was extremely informative. Her knowledge of the Jewish history in Budapest was outstanding. She took me to the Great Synagogue and several other synagogues, explaining everything in deep detail. We also visited the Danube River to see the bronze shoes. The day was perfectly organized, and the entire history she shared was so moving. I highly recommend Petra—she was simply excellent.
Petra was extremely thorough and informative. Very interesting to hear all her stories and explanations. She has a very strong passion and highly recommend her.
Julia was a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. We learned a lot about the Jewish quarter and also about Budapest. Julia was able to answer all of our many queries. We never felt rushed which was important as we were traveling with my 86 year old mother.
We had a wonderful tour with DR KATE LAURENSZKY! She brought us all around the Jewish sites with her friend Tanya driving us. We were able to see so much more than just walking.

Petra was kind, informative and dedicated to finding us. The email reminder and app booking details stated a meeting point that was not our hotel. She found us though!
I’ve done several walking tours in Budapest, but this Jewish Heritage tour was by far the most powerful and memorable. It’s not just a tour — it’s a journey through history, culture, and deeply moving human stories. Walking through the Jewish Quarter, you don’t just see the landmarks, you begin to understand what happened here and why it still matters today. Our guide was exceptional. The way they connected historical facts with personal stories made everything feel real and relatable, not distant or textbook-like. You could feel the weight of history, especially at places like the Shoes on the Danube Bank. Visiting the Dohány Street Synagogue was a highlight — an incredible place with so much history and meaning behind it. What really stood out is the quality of the experience. This is not a crowded, rushed free tour — it’s a well-organized, professional experience with a guide who is attentive, engaging, and easy to follow. This tour strikes the perfect balance between education and emotion. It’s respectful, engaging, and truly eye-opening. If you want more than just sightseeing — if you want to actually understand Budapest — this is the tour to take.

We hope to welcome you back to Budapest in the future. Best regards,
Very knowledgeable tour filled with interesting stories that one wouldn’t learn walking the sites without the guide.
