We had a couple of great chefs teaching a small group Italian cooking in Verona. They communicated well., taught patiently, made sure each was involved, and gave tips and tricks for success along the way. We made delicious food and had fun doing. I’d definitely do it again.

The morning session is great. Excellent chef and teacher. Made a pasta, risoto and a taramasu. Along with some wine. Lasted about 3 1/2 hours. Worth the price.

We’re so happy you enjoyed the morning cooking class and appreciated the chef’s teaching style 😊🍷 Preparing fresh pasta, risotto and tiramisu together while sharing some good wine is exactly the kind of authentic and fun experience we love to create at La Soffritta. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to cook together again someday in Verona!
Our family of four had a great time at this cooking school as part of a couple days in Verona. Given the focus of any trip to Italy on food (and wine), a short cooking lesson such as this is a great way to learn more about some of the key aspects of Italian cuisine. The session covered homemade pasta (most of our time was spent making the noodles from scratch), risotto, and tiramisu. Our instructor, Alessandro, was great and provided all instructions and background information with great clarity. The kitchen/studio was in the main downtown/old town area and a short walk from our hotel. Everything was very well-organized and convenient.
Thank you for your lovely and detailed review! We’re so happy your family enjoyed the experience and that Alessandro made everything clear, fun and well organized 😊 It’s wonderful to hear you appreciated learning about pasta, risotto and tiramisù at our Cooking School La Soffritta!
It was a great course, well explained, and a lot of fun. The food was good and one got recipes of all cooked dishes.
Thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the class and had fun learning step by step 🍝 Taking the recipes home is a beautiful way to relive the experience and keep the flavors of Italy with you.
A great, small group cooking experience. Umberto was fantastic, very informative and patient with us who have never cooked pasta before. We were able to eat everything we made and it was all amazing
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted you enjoyed the small-group cooking class and that the chef’s guidance made pasta-making easy and fun for everyone. Sharing and tasting the dishes you’ve prepared together really makes the experience so special.
Fantastic experience. Sylvia was an excellent teacher, the facilities were superb and the menu perfect. Would highly recommend.
Thank you for your kind feedback, Emma! We’re delighted you enjoyed the class, the facilities, and the menu.
I chose this class because it covered pasta making, risotto and tiramisu. Alberto was our instructor. I think my family has decided to adopt him should he ever move to America. He is super knowledgeable about Italian regions and ingredients and an absolute wizard of a chef. He turns such simple ingredients into culinary perfection. Our group was two 19 year olds, their parents and grandpa. Everyone arrived with different skill levels in the kitchen and even the most novice among us could follow Alberto’s instructions. The tiramisu was delicious and not too hard to make. This was my first time making pasta and it was so easy. I have made a lot of risotto but I learned so much in this class that I am certain I can up my game back home. 10/10 I would absolutely recommend!
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted you and your family enjoyed the class and the welcoming atmosphere. Learning traditional recipes step by step and sharing the experience together is what makes these moments so special.
