This class is a must do! Anna was so entertaining, she explained so much and the hands on was a unique way to experience Italy! The food was amazing and we tried several things. I can't wait to make some of the recipes!
Anna was a gem. We had three adults and 3 children under 10. It was a multigenerational trip for us. She was spectacular with the kids. We laughed , joked, had incredible food. Can't say enough good things about the experience. Book it. You'll never regret it.
Skip the sightseeing- this is the best experience you can have in Sorrento, and probably all of Italy! This isn’t a regular cooking class- this full family experience makes you feel like you’re at your favorite relative’s house making memories to last for a lifetime all while learning about Italian cuisine, and enjoying the best food and drink. It will make you wish you had a Nonna growing up. Anna is incredible. She is such a knowledgeable chef, and she had the warmth and patient of a saint as she taught my 3 young kids to make pasta from scratch. She engaged with my older father and my husband and I seamlessly. My kids left talking about what they wanted to make our family for dinner when they got home and how they wanted to cook more. It was their favorite thing on our 2 week trip across three cities.
Anna was a wonderful host and chef. She taught us many important things about making pasta and tiramisu. Everyone in the class was wonderful. It was a great group of people, couples and families. The food, drinks and Anna were absolutely amazing. One of my favorite things I did while in Sorrento.
The highlight of our trip to Sorrento. Anna is an excellent teacher and we learned so much. We made our own pasta (ravioli, spaghetti and rigatoni) with different sauces, we made a Limoncello drink and tiramisu, all to Nonna Flora’s recipes. We learned why we used certain ingredients (different flour and cheese etc.) and more about Italian cooking in general. All in a relaxed but fun atmosphere. Thank you Anna.
If you are in the Sorrento area and may want to attend a cooking class, this is the one. Anna is such a wonderful hostess. She made the entire experience so much fun. Being Italian cooking and food are in my blood. She taught me a few tricks. We prepared spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were so moist they melted in your mouth. The sauce was amazing. The homemade pasta was absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and book a class. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Sorrento.
It’s was a great experience ! Enzo and his sisters were great! The food we prepared was amazing ! We had a great time !
We had a wonderful cooking experience with Anna at Nonna Flora…finished off perfectly with a fantastic meal that we had prepared and cooked alongside Anna, served by Anna. The lesson was accompanied by delicious Italian wines and liqueurs. Great fun and very informative.
We had the best time, start to finish. Laughter, good music & great learning experience. Anna is amazing! I know her mother & grandmother are bursting with pride.
If you’re visiting Sorrento, stop what you’re doing and book a class at Nonna Flora’s!! Out of everything we did during our trip to Italy, this pasta and tiramisu class with Anna was our favorite memory. Anna is an exceptional host, a fantastic teacher, and one of those rare people who instantly makes you feel welcome. She didn’t just teach us recipes - she shared stories, traditions, and the history behind the food, making the experience feel authentic and personal. She was warm, funny, engaging, and such a wonderful conversationalist that our group was genuinely sad to say goodbye when the class ended. The food was incredible. We made ravioli, spaghetti, and tiramisu from scratch, and both pasta dishes were honestly the best we’ve ever tasted. Along the way, we enjoyed delicious cocktails, fresh bruschetta, and a beautiful selection of local meats and cheeses. The atmosphere was just as special as the food. Anna’s kitchen was beautiful, comfortable, welcoming, and filled with music, laughter, and conversation. It felt less like a cooking class and more like spending an evening with a talented friend who loves sharing her passion for Italian food and hospitality. If you’re looking for an authentic, memorable experience in Sorrento, this is it. We came away with new skills, amazing recipes, and memories we’ll talk about for years. Five stars isn’t enough. Thank you Anna!! ❤️
