Questo sentiero panoramico di 2 chilometri ti porta in una passeggiata guidata attraverso una lussureggiante foresta secondaria, offrendo la possibilità di sperimentare da vicino la ricca biodiversità del Costa Rica. Lungo la strada, godrai di splendidi paesaggi e di una varietà di flora e fauna tropicale. Il sentiero è particolarmente noto per le sue specie di rane, tra cui la sorprendente rana freccia rossa (Oophaga pumilio), così come avvistamenti comuni di scimmie urlatrici, cappuccini dalla faccia bianca ed entrambe le specie di bradipi costaricani (a due e tre dita). Gli amanti degli uccelli possono avvistare tucani, oropendole, tanageri, colibrì, grandi kiskadee e altro ancora. Scoiattoli, farfalle e altre creature affascinanti riempiono anche questo vivace ecosistema.

Il tuo tour inizia all'interno del molo, dove le nostre guide ti aspetteranno con un cartello che mostra il tuo nome. Cerca le nostre camicie rosse per una facile identificazione. Offriamo il ritiro proprio all'interno del molo, quindi non c'è bisogno di camminare fuori dalle strutture. The path for horseback riding was beautiful. The ranch was rustic but inviting. We rode in the rain but it was still a great ride. Our group was pretty inexperienced and did not get too much instruction beforehand so be cautious if you’re new to riding. **BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR WEIGHT! Need to be under 187lbs. To get on a horse** The cahuita national forest was somewhat underwhelming. Maybe because the horseback before was so intense. The trail was flat and easy along the water. We saw some wildlife and nice beaches. Seemed like there was much more to the park but this tour was limited Our guide was very friendly and informative about the area.

When I tell you to BOOK THIS!!! Do it!!!! This was the highlight of my trip. It was so magical I felt like I was in a movie. The staff were excellent!!! The tour guides amazing. I want to go back just to experience this again. I will say it says that long pants and closed shoes are “recommended” but they are REQUIRED. 12/10 experience overall

We booked this 3rd party from the cruise we came in on and it was an awesome experience. When we got off the ship we met up with our tour guide Jose C. He had our name printed on a piece of paper so it was easy to find. The 4 of us got into a private van with A/C (which is a must😁) and some bottled water. We drove for about an hour to the horse stable and national forest, which went by pretty quick thanks to Jose's informative conversation. We also got to stop on the way there at a little fruit stand and store to try some local fruits and snacks. Once we arrived at the horse stable we split up into 2 groups of 2. 2 of us went to the national forest for an hour and a half and walked the super easy trail (if walking through the forest is too much you can always hang out at the local restaurants and do some shopping or eating) and the the other 2 went on an hour and half horse ride through the streets and along 2 beaches. While in the forest we saw snakes, monkeys, sloths, toucans, and raccoons. For the horseback riding section we had a blast. The first 45 minutes was smooth and relaxing along the beach with beautiful views. The second half was where the fun started. We raced our horses down the entire beach and really got to experience riding those amazing animals. After our horse ride we got served some fresh watermelon and pineapple and bottled water. We then drove back to the cruise port where we got dropped off right to the pier. I highly recommend this excursion and would definitely do it again if we make it back to Limon. I also want to thank Jose C for such an amazing day and recommend everyone to request him as your guide.

I recently went on a horseback and national tour in Costa Rica, and it was an unforgettable experience. Rosa and Alex were divine and fabulous company, making the tour exceptionally special by tailoring it to our group's personal interests. My sister's favorite animal is a sloth, so they made sure to stop along the roads, in the park, and everywhere in between to show her the sloths. They also introduced us to local fruits and foods, which added a wonderful touch to the tour. It was a lovely time, and I would highly recommend this tour to any tourists visiting the area.
