Questo tour a piedi è di circa 4 ore in totale, lontano dal trambusto della grande città di Osaka. Si può godere la natura stagionale durante le escursioni. Si trova a circa 30 minuti da Osaka con il treno sulla linea Hankyu. Monte Minoo un ampio parco monumentale, "Mino Park", che ha una bellissima cascata, "Minoo Waterfall" che è stata selezionata come una delle migliori cascate del Giappone. Attorno alla cascata è possibile godere di vari scenari durante le quattro stagioni dal verde fresco in primavera, fino alle bellissime foglie autunnali in autunno. Minoo Park è stato designato come parco quasi nazionale l'11 dicembre 1967 come uno dei 100 anni del progetto commemorativo Meiji. Un tesoro di habitat naturali di circa 1.300 specie di piante, 3.500 insetti, un sacco di uccelli selvatici, mammiferi, anfibi, rettili, pesci, ecc. Circondano il parco. Lo speciale monumento naturale, la salamandra giapponese, si trova anche nella zona montuosa di Minoo.

Il Parco Minoo fu designato come parco quasi nazionale l'11 dicembre 1967 come uno dei progetti commemorativi del 100 ° anno Meiji. "Ryuanji" è stato il punto centrale delle cascate fin dai tempi antichi. Qui esiste un dojo in cui si teneva spesso l'allenamento montuoso. I Sacerdoti di montagna si riuniscono qui da tutto il paese in aprile, luglio e novembre per uno speciale rituale sacrificale. "Benzaiten", il dio della ricchezza, è custodito nella sala principale del tempio e si dice che sia la più antica delle sette divinità di fortuna del Giappone.
"Minoo Waterfall" è la cascata più consigliata di Osaka in Giappone. La grande cascata ha una larghezza di 5 metri e un'altezza di 33 metri. La grande goccia crea una vista impressionante alla base dove l'acqua cade di fronte a te con un colore bianco. L'acqua che scorre rapidamente dalle pareti rocciose ha una forza impressionante. Il modo in cui la superficie dell'acqua si ripiega colpendo le rocce sporgenti è molto misterioso. Quando ti avvicini alla cascata, puoi lasciare che i suoni dell'acqua che spruzza e i venti inviano ioni negativi in tutto il corpo.
All'interno del negozio puoi goderti il pranzo e l'ora del tè in un'atmosfera tranquilla. Gli autentici chicchi di lusso tostati vengono sempre accuratamente sottratti, i sapori ricchi e il gusto leggermente amaro sono noti per essere squisiti.

Naoko, our guide, was exceptional in so many ways. First, she was very accommodating on the starting schedule when the weather turned rainy. She lead a leisurely nature walk to the shrine & waterfall, and pointed out features & wildlife that we would have missed. Being a local, she was also able to educate us on Japanese culture including the wabi sabi spirit, filial piety, haiku, and day-to-day life. We really enjoy her company. This tour is the highlight of our Osaka visit.

We had a wonderful time doing this hike with Yukari. Number one, she was an absolute sweetheart. She was very knowledgeable on the history of Japan, the town, and the waterfall. She also gave us suggestions for the rest of our trip through other cities. The hike to the waterfall was a trek but definitely worth it. We highly recommend this tour if you want to go outside of the big city and immerse yourself in nature!

What a scenic and beautiful park. The hike was peaceful and filled with picturesque views throughout the journey to the waterfall. Our guide was excellent! She was friendly, her English was excellent and contributed to such a joy-full experience.

It was a great tour - beautiful nature, fresh environment, and Ms Naoko Fukunishi was an excellent tour guide. Unfortunately, the leaves haven’t changed their green color. We wish we could come one month later to enjoy the autumn foliage.

I had an amazing time with Naoko as my tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, well prepared and extremely kind and friendly. The nature was beautiful and the sights are breathtaking. I highly recommend stopping by the insect museum - the butterfly dome was simply magical. Don’t hesitate is you are looking for something out of the ordinary in Osaka area.
