Itinerario
20 minuti di viaggio dall'ammiraglia. La nostra prima tappa è uno dei luoghi imperdibili di Kyoto, il famoso Santuario Fushimi-Inari, famoso soprattutto per le migliaia di porte Tori. Ci dirigiamo anche per vedere la bellezza nascosta delle foreste di bambù, che la maggior parte dei visitatori probabilmente trascurerà.
A 15 minuti di viaggio dal Santuario di Fushimi-Irari. Successivamente, attraverseremo il Tempio Sanjusangendo, famoso per le sue 1001 statue di Kannon, la dea della misericordia, esposte all'interno del tempio.
10 minuti di viaggio da Sanjusandengo. Seguendo il fiume Shirakawa, pedaleremo attraverso le vecchie strade secondarie che ci condurranno a Miyagawa-cho e al ponte Tatsumi a Gion, il famoso quartiere delle geishe. Ci vogliono circa 20 minuti per attraversare la zona.
A 15 minuti dal quartiere di Gion. Avvicinandoci al centro della città di Kyoto, visiteremo il Tempio Nanzen-ji, uno dei templi Zen più importanti del Giappone.
A 10 minuti di viaggio dal Tempio Nanzenji. La nostra ultima tappa è il famoso santuario shintoista chiamato "Santuario Heian-Jingu", noto come simbolo dell'essere la capitale del Giappone circa 800 anni fa.
A 10 minuti di viaggio dal Santuario Heian-Jingu. Infine, torneremo indietro seguendo il fiume Kamogawa, probabilmente il fiume più famoso di Kyoto. Ci vogliono circa 20 minuti per tornare alla nostra fermata Flagship.

the best way to cover the most ground! see neighborhoods you might otherwise miss. Kaz was a fantastic guide and we got plenty of exercise too! highly recommend - but be city bicycle ready!

The ebike trip guided by Karen was wonderful. You will be riding through the streets, so Caution is necessary. She took us to the river walk, and four other sites as listed. The trip was easy and casual. Karen was fabulous. I highly recommend.

Our family of five (including three teens - 13, 17, 19) all loved this tour. Aki was a very knowledgeable guide and took many family photos of us at various stops. Our kids said this was their favorite activity in Kyoto!

We really enjoyed our morning cycle ride with our guide. She took us along the quieter backstreets en route to our destinations. This was our first time riding in a city in Japan but we felt safe with our guide who went at a good pace for us and checked with us regularly. She also gave us good explanations at each stop and stopped at points of interest on the way. The e-bikes were easy to operate and comfortable to ride. A memorable experience!

We had a fabulous time with Sato! She was so sweet and kind and gave us fantastic food recommendations for after our tour! The ride was well thought out to avoid as much pedestrian traffic as possible and still gave us great views and explanations. The bikes were more traditional style and not too bulky.

This tour was probably the highlight of our 2 week trip to Japan and we could not recommend it more. The weather wasn't ideal (chilly and mostly cloudy) but that did not detract from a wonderful experience. Aki was a fun, knowledgeable, and thoughtful guide (and great personal photographer!). We appreciated getting to some of the more popular stops early on so as to avoid the crowds. The ebikes made navigating a breeze, and made getting around an unfamiliar city less daunting. Highly recommend!!
