The museum is amazing. Having a non-timed ticket for entry was super convenient. We couldn't find tickets any other way.
Went there to specifically see Degas' Little Dancer. I was moved to tears. Enjoyed the other Musee pieces as well. All staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The orsay is five stars, ticket operator is 1 star instructions tell you to go to redemption center and this is impossible to find then at the last minute there is a form that download ticket, it should tell you to just download ticket
The Musee de Orsay in Paris is a really huge collection of masterpiece artworks, including Renior, van Gogh, Cezanne, Monet, and so many more. There is way too much see in a one day visit, but it was really worth the time we spent there. We went on a Tuesday when the Louvre and Orgerie were closed. Yet the crowds were not unmanageable.
The museum is so interesting , even to one who doesn't have any knowledge about art or about expresionism.
So many people that it was impossible to see and enjoy the art. Also very warm. Why not just send a ticket. Had trouble getting my phone to load the email with tickets
Wonderful museum, nice and cool, could spend more than a few hours here. Air conditioning was a plus as well.
We wanted to visit the museum, but the timed tickets were all sold out. Viator saved the day and we had no trouble getting in!
Beautiful setting, inside & out, for some of the world's most impressive collections. My husband borrowed a wheelchair quickly and easily. Elevators were a bit hard to figure out, as not all went to all floors. The inside of the giant clocks were incredible as well. One is in the café, which had a great gazpacho. Restrooms were crowded and a bit difficult to navigate. The art and overall feel of this museum make up for the couple of quirks.
It’s nice and open and not crowded the art is beautiful and so are the statues. Would definitely recommend
