We arrived in Nairobi a day early for our 2-week safari. Our guide, Steve, and driver, Dennis, were friendly, informative, and professional. If you have an open day, take this excursion!
Everything in this experience was nice! It met and even exceeded our expectations, it was an awesome day in a great company from our guide and the other tour participants! Totally recommend!
It seems like this tour varies on the guide you get and there are many, and maybe our guide wasn't on his game that day and it was a combination of bad luck but things didn't go great.. I didn't bring bottled water because it said it was provided but when we got to the park for the 4 hour safari they said they didn't have water for us because plastic water bottles weren't allowed. So be aware - luckily we could buy a glass bottle at the gate. Our driver spent most of his time on his phone which I think was talking to other drivers in the park to find animals but wasn't communicated well - luckily someone in our group was good at spotting animals and became our tour guide. We ended up being late for the elephants and missed half of our time there and seeing them be fed. Then our car got stuck at our next stop - the bead factory before lunch - One of the reasons I picked this tour because I wanted to go to Cultiva and saw that was a stop but when we were picked up the group was given an option of that or a buffet - we all picked Cultiva but then found out it was closed for the day anyway. At this point we all just wanted to go our separate ways and uber to the last stop - the giraffes on our own since everything is pre-paid through the tour company before but apparently you cannot go without the guide. So we were stuck unless we wanted to lose the money and go to the giraffes and pay again. So we had to wait for the car to be fixed - which took a half hour. I don't know - maybe we just had a bad luck tour because everyone else seems to have a great time? And I mean its a great line up of things to see and do in Nairobi if things go smooth for you so good luck!

My main goal of booking this trip was to be able to see the orphaned baby elephants at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust - you can only see them from 11 to 12 in the morning. We went so far during the morning game drive, and sat for so long watching a couple of lions ( who were just sleeping) that we got to the baby elephants about 20 minutes late. I was very disappointed by this. The rest of the trip was good.
What an amazing day! Frank was a great tour guide. If you want to see these attractions, I really recommend doing this tour, especially for solo travellers. It took the stress out of planning and let me enjoy the day and meet new people. The price is also affordable, as the tour takes most of the day!
Jonathan was a great guide! Very knowledgeable! The park is beautiful and we saw lots of animals! Watch out for monkeys and baboons, especially if you have food!
This tour was amazing! I was only in Nairobi for two days but had a long to-do list, and this tour allowed me to do everything I was hoping to within the span of a day. It never felt rushed or crammed, and Charles was an excellent tour guide who made the experience even more special. I highly recommend!
A must-do while in Nairobi! The elephant orphanage presentation was informative; at the giraffe centre feeding the giraffes was an unforgettable experience. It was a fun day!
