Fuggi dal brusio di Bangkok e viaggia in una delle meraviglie naturali più preziose della Thailandia: Parco nazionale di Khao Yai, il parco nazionale più antico del paese. A tre ore di auto dalla capitale, questo vasto santuario, dichiarato patrimonio dell'UNESCO, si estende su oltre 2.000 chilometri quadrati di montagne lussureggianti, fitta giungla e cascate spettacolari. Khao Yai è un paradiso per gli amanti della natura e uno dei posti migliori in Thailandia per incontrare la fauna selvatica nel loro habitat naturale. Mentre segui uno dei sentieri del parco, tieni gli occhi aperti per avvistare cornacchie, gibboni e, se sei fortunato, serpenti e persino elefanti selvatici. I paesaggi qui sono mozzafiato, dai punti panoramici nebbiosi delle montagne alle foreste vibranti che echeggiano con richiami di uccelli. Si prega di notare: Khao Yai è un Parco Nazionale, non uno zoo. L’avvistamento della fauna selvatica non può mai essere garantito, in quanto gli animali vagano liberamente nella fitta vegetazione del parco. Ma è proprio questo che rende Khao Yai così speciale: è crudo, reale e imprevedibile. La dimensione del gruppo è limitata a un massimo di 10 partecipanti.

Khao Yai, con la sua ricca flora e fauna, è la destinazione perfetta per gli amanti della natura. Il parco ospita elefanti, tigri, scimmie, orsi, cervi, scoiattoli e oltre 400 specie di uccelli. Si possono incontrare anche pitoni, ragni, roditori e insetti, quindi si consiglia un abbigliamento a maniche lunghe. Facciamo un trekking di 3-4 km attraverso la foresta e ci godiamo il paesaggio montuoso panoramico e la fitta giungla. Lungo il percorso, la tua Guida ti indicherà piante interessanti, tracce di animali e suoni della foresta. Khao Yai è uno dei posti migliori in Thailandia per avvistare elefanti asiatici selvatici, anche se gli avvistamenti non possono mai essere garantiti. Il percorso è adatto a chi ha un livello di forma fisica normale, anche se capiamo che lo sforzo fisico varia da persona a persona. La durata include il tempo di viaggio da e per Bangkok.
Ci sono diverse cascate in tutto il parco nazionale che offrono paesaggi incredibili e opportunità fotografiche. La cascata più famosa del Parco Nazionale di Khao Yai è Haew Suwat. È famoso per essere stato il luogo dell'immersione nella cascata di Leonardo DiCaprio nel film "The Beach" nel 2000.
Haew Narok è la cascata più alta del Parco Nazionale Khao Yai e l'attrazione principale del parco, con una cascata su tre livelli con il livello finale che sgorga 80 metri più in basso in una piscina profonda. Tuttavia solo il primo livello è aperto al pubblico, poiché gli altri livelli sono ripidi e pericolosi. C'è un punto di vista collinare dove puoi osservare chiaramente e scattare foto della cascata. - L'orario esatto di incontro/partenza sarà comunicato in un messaggio privato tramite la piattaforma il giorno prima del tour. L'orario di partenza può essere compreso tra 07 : 15 - 08 : 00 ore a seconda del numero di partecipanti alla data del viaggio.
- Il numero massimo di partecipanti per gruppo è di 10 persone.
- IMPORTANTE: Ci sono molti animali selvatici nel parco nazionale, ma bisogna sempre ricordarsi che si sta visitando un enorme parco nazionale, non uno zoo che osserva animali in cattività. Gli animali sono liberi di vagare dove vogliono, e con la fitta vegetazione non è sempre facile trovarli.
- Il sentiero escursionistico che seguiamo è lungo circa 3-4 chilometri. È adatto a chiunque abbia un normale livello di forma fisica, ma capiamo che lo sforzo fisico è vissuto in modo diverso da ogni individuo.
- Il tempo di percorrenza tra Bangkok e Khao Yai è di circa 3 ore di sola andata, a seconda delle condizioni del traffico.
- Il traffico di Bangkok è spesso molto congestionato, quindi chiediamo gentilmente a tutti gli ospiti di arrivare in orario. Poiché i nostri tour si svolgono su base di gruppo, possiamo attendere un massimo di 10 minuti dopo l'orario di incontro previsto. Dopo questo periodo di tolleranza, la Guida inizierà il tour. Se non riuscite ad arrivare in tempo, fatecelo sapere prima dell'inizio del tour. Se possibile, faremo del nostro meglio per riprogrammarti per il giorno successivo disponibile, anche se verrà applicata una tariffa di riprogrammazione di 500 THB a persona. Nessun rimborso sarà previsto in caso di arrivo ritardato.
- Le cancellazioni effettuate almeno 24 ore prima dell'orario di inizio del tour hanno diritto a un rimborso completo. Per cancellazioni effettuate con meno di 24 ore di anticipo o in caso di no-show, non verrà emesso alcun rimborso. Le cancellazioni dovute al tempo non sono ammissibili al rimborso.

Park is beautiful and green. John was a great guide. We saw deer, tiny golden deer, a monitor lizard, monkeys and a black snake crossing the road.

John was an amazing guide, gave us good insights about Thailand and the national park. We got super lucky and saw a black bear. Pick up point probably not the easiest being a main intersection in BKK especially at 8 am in the morning. Overall very recommended for a getaway day from bkk

Pickup was on time. Nice, friendly and kind guide Ms. Surin or Mam and driver Mr. Jirawat. I am a solo traveler and another person in the group is also a solo traveler. We got to do and see all things listed including 2 main waterfalls and a trekking. Almost at the end of the trekking I requested a little detour to see a nearby smaller waterfall and the guide let the group there since we had time. While climbing steep stairs at two major waterfalls and trekking, Ms. Surin pays attention to travelers’ safety. On the way there she bought us small mosquitoes repellent spray and wipe as there could be a lot of mosquitoes. She warned us of blood sucking leech in wet area and under leaves. She watched out and listened for snake. She allows us to take our time and warn us which area could be slippery and dangerous. At the same time she kept her eyes and ears out for wild animals. We saw 4 hornbills (2 different kinds), dears, monkeys, black squirrels. The driver and the guide drove us around to try to find elephants but we didn’t have luck. On the way back to Bangkok I requested to stop at a fruit stand along the road and we got to try and buy fresh and delicious Durian, Pamello, Mangosteens, Salak at a very good price much cheaper than those sold in Bangkok. I had a wonderful day. I often travel alone and having good companies while traveling made the trip memorable. I recommend this one day trip if you don’t have much time but want to enjoy the rich wilderness of Thailand without much exhaustion.
