Si parte da Sarangkot, il principale sito di parapendio di Pokhara a 1.592m, dopo un breve briefing del pilota tandem certificato. Pochi passi avanti e il terreno non c'è più. Per 25 minuti si plana sopra il lago Phewa, colline verdi e piccoli villaggi, con Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Lamjung Himal e Himchuli in vista per tutto il tempo. Aquile e avvoltoi spesso condividono le stesse correnti termiche. L'atterraggio avviene vicino a Lakeside, vicino al punto di partenza. Il prelievo e la consegna gratuiti dall'hotel, oltre a un pacchetto fotografico e video gratuito, non significa nulla da organizzare oltre a presentarsi. Nessuna escursione, nessun allenamento in quota, nessuna esperienza necessaria. Il tuo pilota fa il volo — hai venticinque minuti di cui la maggior parte delle persone trascorre il resto del viaggio parlando.

Offering life time experience here in Pokhara
I had very good experience. ☺️ I really liked all the facilities and they were so sweet.
My first time paragliding, and let me tell you—I have never voluntarily run off a cliff before, but Pokhara somehow convinced me it was a good idea. With the Himalayas posing dramatically behind me like they were ready for a photoshoot, I took the leap… literally. My tandem pilot was smooth, skilled, and reassuring—the kind of guy who could probably talk me into doing my taxes if he said it was “super safe.” Once we were in the air, I felt ridiculously cool, floating above Pokhara like a slightly chaotic superhero. The town, the lake, the mountains—gorgeous. Me? Also gorgeous, obviously. The 15–20 minutes in the air were the perfect mix of “wow, this is stunning” and “wow, I can’t believe I’m still alive.” Honestly, 10/10 would yeet myself off a hill again. If you’re going to paraglide anywhere, do it in Pokhara. It’s beautiful, it’s thrilling, and it gives you bragging rights for life.

I had an amazing time paragliding with Mountain Hike Nepal! The journey started with private transportation to Sarangkot, a beautiful spot at 1,592m above sea level. The 25-minute flight was breathtaking, with stunning views of villages, temples, and lakes, and I even shared the sky with eagles and vultures! Seeing the majestic Mt. Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, and Himchuli from above was surreal. The team was professional, and safety was their top priority.
