Situata esattamente di fronte a quelli che Stendhal definì i più bei resti dell' antichità romana , la fontana del Pantheon fu realizzata dallo scultore Leonardo Sormani , su progetto del 1575 dell' architetto Giacomo Della Porta (1533 - 1602), e fu una delle prime erette nella Roma rinascimentale . Fu costruita in seguito al restauro dell'acquedotto della Vergine (1570) che alimentava, tra gli altri, anche la Fontana della Barcaccia, la Fontana di Trevi e la Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi.
Entrando nel Pantheon, lasciatevi affascinare dai suoi grandiosi interni, una miscela armoniosa di antico ingegno romano ed eleganza senza tempo. This was not a tour. It was a ticket to enter the Pantheon. No audio guide was provided. Finding the location to check in was difficult because the description of the location could have been more detailed. "By the elephant on the left side of the Pantheon" was not enough. This elephant under an obelisk is a statue in a square in front of a church. You must walk all along the left side of the Pantheon until it is behind you, then look left into the square to see the statue. The company representative could have been wearing something to identify themselves or holding a paddle or something. Seeing the inside of the Pantheon was worth the ticket to get in.

I would not pay for it again. The representative met us at a plaza behind the Pantheon. He was polite, but we could have gotten tickets on scene cheaper. Unfortunately we could not download the application for the guided audio tour so we missed out on that as well.

We enjoyed the visit to the Pantheon and it was nice to able to sit inside, interesting place to visit and have a look round. Collecting the ticket was ok (round the rear of the pantheon) but we were left to our own devices about joining the right que there at least 4 ques going at the same time was a little annoying, still better than hoping the que to buy a ticket. Vale for money only cause you are guaranteed to get in.

Great way to avoid standing in line, and our escort into the pantheon was nice and professional. However, we did not realize we had to bring our own head phones, so we could not listen to the included audio and our tour was quite short.

Great experience. We met with our guide at the designated area and received our tickets and audio guide. Once received, we entered the Pantheon and followed with the audio guide. Don’t forget that you have to cover shoulder’s and knees to enter. I brought a scarf to cover my shoulders. I just packed it in my bag and took it everywhere.

Was very disappointed. It essentialist the Rick Steves audio. Only benefit was we didn’t have to wait in line. Disappointed.

We had a good experience with the meet-and-greet, audio guide, and skip-the-line. The Pantheon is a must-see if you are in Rome, and we enjoyed a lot. However, we were told and saw signs saying no shorts and no bare shoulders - as such we dressed appropriately despite near 40 degree summer temperatures. Rather annoyiongly the "rules" were not being enforced - frankly I could see bum cheeks which is disrespectful. Either relax/remove the rules, or enforce them. We won't be going back.

Have your smart phone and head phones ready. The tour starts outside before you enter, so start the tour on your phone before you go in. We enjoyed it very much.

We opted for the audio guide that was easy to download and full of information. It was easy to find the ticket distribution with this company. We loved the Pantheon and it was incredible to see. These tickets made it a breeze.
