Giro panoramico attraverso Arbanasi, la parte vecchia di Zara, e lungo la spiaggia locale più popolare - Kolovare.
L’ingresso principale alla città vecchia e la più imponente tra le porte di Zara è la porta della città ornata (chiamata anche porta di terra–Kopnena vrata in croato), sul lato meridionale della città vecchia nel piccolo porto di Foša. Fu costruito da un architetto veneziano Michele Sanmicheli, terminato nel 1543 ed è considerato uno dei più bei monumenti del Rinascimento in Dalmazia.

Saluto al Sole si trova nel porto di Zara, nella parte occidentale della penisola di Zara, proprio accanto all'organo marino. Situato in questa posizione ideale, offre una splendida vista sulle isole di Zara e sul tramonto.
L'Organo Marino è diventato un'icona moderna della città: si tratta di un miracolo architettonico unico costruito nella parte sottomarina della banchina della città. Le correnti delle onde e il loro passaggio attraverso tubi musicali installati sotto la superficie del mare creano un suono sorprendente, la cosiddetta musica del mare, che riempie l'ampio spazio della passeggiata a mare. Lo stesso architetto, Nikola Bašić, ha il merito del Saluto al sole, situato proprio in cima alla penisola di Zara. Il Saluto al Sole è costituito da trecento lastre di vetro multistrato installate allo stesso livello della pavimentazione in pietra della banchina a forma di cerchio di 22 metri di diametro. È concepito come un'installazione spaziale a forma di anfiteatro circondato da blocchi di pietra con una presentazione di tutti i pianeti del Sistema Solare e delle loro orbite. Secondo il famoso Alfred Hitchcock, questa parte della banchina di Zara offre una vista del tramonto più bello del mondo.

Situato di fronte alla chiesa di San Donato e al Palazzo Arcivescovile, era il centro di tutta la vita pubblica, il più grande foro della costa orientale. Epoca romana, costruita dal I secolo a.C. al III secolo d.C.

Our tour was very short and took us to only 2-3 small attractions. Our driver was very nice , but very difficult to hear because the tuk tuk engine was loud. Our back seat family didn’t hear anything. The first row (us) had to relay everything the driver told us about. For $68 per person, it was not worth it
Hi Wendy thank you for your comment, really surprised with it. First of all, I think all stops we mentioned in tour description we visited - and I strongly suggest to read the tour description before buying, not just ours -everyone. Regarding the noise - we are riding ELECTRIC Tuks - in our 5 years of experience and thousand and thousand guest we heard different complaints, but no one mention that electric car is noisy:) However, we are happy that you have liked our driver, for us it's most important thing. We are sorry that we didn't fulfilled your expectation, but we cannon make up more stops in 80K small town, and we cannot tell the TUK company to make more silent new models. If you think you overpay the tour - price was written next to tour description - no hidden cost.. Have a great holiday and I wish you all future tours much better than ours :) All the best Vice
This is a great way to see Zadar- Just 4 people in a covered eco car with a local guide/driver. We saw the main sights, heard the water organ and had time to explore on our own as well. We had the choice to return to the ship or stay in town - easy and delightful. HIghly recommend

We had a short time period here so this was a perfect way to see the town. Our guide Marco was great and we had enough time at the various stops. Go early to beat the crowds. Make sure to go to the Sea Organ!
