Pan di Zucchero - Escursione e scalata facile sulla costa del Pan di Zucchero

Un tour completamente diverso per raggiungere la vetta della montagna più iconica del Brasile! Invece di prendere la funivia, raggiungeremo la vetta di 396 metri del Monte Pan di Zucchero attraverso un sentiero e un tratto di facile arrampicata, sempre con una vista mozzafiato sulla città! Questo percorso fu conquistato per la prima volta nel 1817 dall'inglese Henrietta Carstairs e ora, nel 2024, potrete seguire le sue orme! Con il supporto completo di una guida certificata dal Ministero del Turismo, addestrata all'arrampicata e al primo soccorso in natura, con tutta l'attrezzatura di sicurezza certificata e l'assicurazione personale per ogni partecipante! Il Monte Pan di Zucchero vi aspetta per questa esperienza naturalistica mozzafiato. Siete pronti per questa avventura? Nota: Si tratta di un'escursione di livello avanzato che richiede una buona forma fisica. Assicuratevi di essere in grado di svolgere l'attività prima di prenotare. Nota: Il tour parte sempre nel pomeriggio, poiché a quell'ora il percorso è in ombra. Al mattino c'è troppo sole e il rischio di esaurimento da calore è maggiore.

Itinerario
Ci incontreremo nel punto d'incontro designato e da lì inizieremo una leggera passeggiata lungo la Pista Cláudio Coutinho, dove potremo vedere dal basso il Pan di Zucchero e il Parco Naturale del Pan di Zucchero. Dopo circa 10 minuti inizieremo un sentiero sterrato con alcune rocce e poi inizieremo a salire su una scogliera rocciosa dove potremo vedere l'altro lato della città, la baia di Guanabara, la catena montuosa e la città di Niterói. Continueremo la salita fino alla base della rampa di arrampicata. Qui ci doteremo di tutta l'attrezzatura necessaria per superare la gara. La guida andrà avanti e uno alla volta salirà. Proseguiremo poi verso la tappa successiva: Pedra Filosofal, un bellissimo punto panoramico con vista sulle spiagge di Leme e Copa e sulle montagne della città. Da lì attaccheremo la vetta e potremo rilassarci bevendo acqua di cocco e facendo uno spuntino in vetta. E scenderemo con la funivia al Morro da Urca, dove prenderemo un piccolo sentiero per tornare al punto di partenza.

Challenging hike with very steep rock ramps! The rock climbing section was fun. Igor was a fantastic guide and so helpful!
Hard to describe the climb. It was, in equal parts, exhilarating, frightening, and remarkable. Physically demanding but a truly incredibly experience. Take shoes that have a proper grip for rock climbing, running shoes/sneakers will not help you. Our guide, Luis, was unbelievably patient and helpful. A genuine life experience

My husband and I recently hiked Sugarloaf via the steep route/easy climb, so it involves some rock climbing. As first-time climbers, we weren’t sure what to expect, but our guide was exceptional—knowledgeable, highly trained, and always making sure we felt safe and confident. His guidance allowed us to fully enjoy the experience without worry. One of the best parts was that we had stunning views for most of the hike, making every step even more rewarding. Reaching the summit right at sunset was the perfect finale—the sky lit up in breathtaking colors, making the already incredible view even more magical. The entire experience was invigorating, and we couldn’t have asked for a better adventure. If you’re considering this hike, don’t hesitate—100% worth. Also I do have a fear of heights and was just careful not to look down for the rock climbing part. I was fine!

An amazing experience that was only made possible by my amazing guide Marius! The climb was a little scarier than I expected, but Marius kept me calm and helped guide me up. We took our time to appreciate the views and I learned about the Brazilian culture and other interesting facts along the way. Marius was amazing, he made me feel so safe the whole hike and was fun to be around. Incredible views, a must do if you can - much better and more worthwhile experience than taking the gondola up so a crazy crowded tourist area!

Fun little challenging hike! My wife and I had such a great time experiencing the true beauty of Sugar Loaf mountain away from the crowds. What made it even better was our amazing guide Marius! We quickly felt very comfortable with him and are happy to say we finished the experience with a new friend. Would HIGHLY recommend this hike to challenge yourself, enjoy the beautiful views and get OFF the beaten path! Make sure to ask Marius about the Philosophers Stone!
